I can't believe it so I have to know if it is true! My friend told me that they are going to be putting Naruto onto Cartoon Network! If anybody else knows about this rumor/fact please please tell me! Oh if it isn't true I will cry...

yes they are putting it on toonami this fall- they will probably edit out all the blood, naked girls, and weird japanese stuff though gonk
like then Jiraia told Naruto he was sexy XD
lol, anyways... yeah ShoPro is getting it, which is much better than 4kids, so be grateful ^_^ they debated whether or not adult swim should get it instead, and they decided no because the show was about pre-teens, not teens or adults.... which is bullcrap cuz now all the crappy little kids will be into it and stuff D: adult swim should have gotten it scream
i'll let this be it's own thread because it is a big deal ^_^

They should put it on adult swim so they can at least have swearing and blood! NEED BLOODY VIOLENCE AND NAKED LADIES! But it is so friggin' awesome! Finnally! No more buying shonen jump or waiting for the new GN's yay!!!

It means Naruto will go mainstream ... which also means lots more Naruto merchandise on the market ... yeah ... but I like it better when the fanbase outside of Japan is smaller ... you know what I mean?
Kinda like a "We were here first kinda jealousy thing." If that makes any sense at all. xd
And yeah they're going to decipate it with the dub. And edit out all the good stuff ... >.>

Naruto coming to America, it's both good and bad. It's good because now more fans can be converted. It's bad because it's going to be on Toonami and that means a lot of things will be editted.
We can sort of judge how the dub will be based on the manga. Most of the techniques sound horribly dubbed. I'll give you three examples:
1) Hinata and Neji's Byakugan, in the manga it was called the Evil Eye technique.
2) Shikamaru's Kage Mane no Jutsu, the manga called it 'Me and My Shadow' Technique.
3) Gaara's Desert Graveyard, manga had it called Imploding Sand Funeral.
Sorry about the ranting, I just get like this when I really like an anime and it's being dubbed.

- At least 4kids no do it, cause they get rid of everything....>> They cut crap out of Cardcaptor Sakura damnit!
- The new fans will only know the dub and it will be the worst trying to explain to them all the real stuff... Have to do that already...><
- Toonami will cut out all the good stuff
- The voices will suck
- Merchandise made will be extremely cheap and solid plastic with the edge stuff still on it. (I hate trying to pick that off)
I'll add more to it later, but I have to go to thee dentist.... Cursed place that makes me wait an extra half hour and then stabs stuff into my mouth and says I need to fix my teeth more, cause they screwed up the last time they touched my mouth...::hisses::

D: augh!

this kinda makes me want to like go crazy or something but then i wount not be able to wacth more naruto.all i can say is buy the uncut and import stuff i got the imported dvds uncut on ebay for like 20 bucks xd

When the show actually airs, me and my friends decided to attempt to sit and watch it. Only so we can post on our xangas, or for me here on Gaia. All the stupid changes that will be made and comments on the voices for each of the characters.

I'm only gonna watch it once they have thee more amusing characters come in. Then I can hear their voice and change the channel before I die from the spaz attack. ::shudders:: Just thinking about hee voices gives me thee chills.
