out of curiousity, what is everyone here majoring in? and if you're not in college yet, what do you aspire to be(seriously)? give a little background on yourself too for the hell of it
im working to finish the 13th grade(aka community college) for an associates in science, and next year im transferring to kettering for a degree in engineering.
my real name is tom(though its occasionally steve too razz ) im not gay, bi, or curious anymore, really. ive been there, tried that stuff; not for me i think.
i still live with my parents, because its so much cheaper that way. besides, i dont make enough to support myself on my own. construction is my summer job. its hard but it pays well rolleyes
hobbies include wasting part of my life online, D&D, biking, and reading(you know, those things they make you read in school? books? surprised ) i just finished a book called "self made man" , its a book about a woman dressing as a man to understand the hidden world of men. currently reading on the history of religion as a natural phenomenon(interesting i know)
you know, now that i wrote this, it sounds a helluva lot like some cheesy personals ad, but its not like that. im not that desperate, heh

My name is Derek. I use the nickname "Bandit" because it was a pet name my ex used to call me. I keep it anyway because of my fondness of racoons.
I live in Los Angeles, California, in the city of Alhambra.
I'm currently on summer vacation and once that ends I will be in the 11th grade (junior) at Alhambra High School. I am in the AHS Speech and Debate team and the Alhambra All-Male Hip-Hop Dance Team.
I am bisexual and am currently in a long distance relationship with a guy.
I aspire to be a professional comedian, or at the very least, some kind of patron of the arts, which is what I intend to study once I get into college.
I live with my father and me grandparents. My mother left when I was arouns three, and I used visit her every weekend until I reached high school.
My hobbies include occasional reading. I'm currently reading a book titled "The Know-It-All, One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World" The title explains the book. I also enjoy biking, I'd prefer biking to driving.
I'm currently trying to complete the second part of a two-part story that I've been working on for a few weeks. If you want to read the first part, It's titled "Keep in Touch" and I've posted it on this forum, your critique is appreciated.

Me I'm going to community college. I'm going for an associate in art transfer. I plan to goto ECU (east carolina Universty). Not sure what I'll do afterwards. I love to work with animals so maybe open up my own animal shelter and/or foster baby animals. Maybe go into nature photography.

My real name is Becca, but I go by Jinxie online because Jinx is the name of one of my favorite cartoon characters (sounds childish, but whatever).
I'm bisexual, and that really fits the rest of my personality because I love just about everyone to a certain extent, and I'm very open about most things.
Currently I'm in 10th grade, but I have my entire future through college planned out. When I finish high school, I'm going to Boston University. I'll almost certainly get in, as long as I can keep my grades up, because my mom is on the staff list (which also means that I only have to pay 10% of the tuition!). For graduate school, I plan to go to Tufts University, because they have a great medical school and my mom is an alumni (she even recieved a lifetime achievement award from them a few years ago!), and hopefully I could get a scholarship which would be very nice. I plan to major in the medical field, possibly as an optometrist or researcher. I'm not totally sure that I WANT to be a doctor when I grow up, but it seems like a good idea, as well as a pretty safe and reliable job.
My hobbies include reading, spending all of my free time on the computer, synchronized swimming, and jewelry/card making.

yeah. so, my name is Jami. I'm gonnna be a freshman in highschool starting in two weeks. what i want to do ranges from phsyciatry to massage therapy. so, yeah, is kinda undecided.
I love make-up. it's a hobby of mine. along with reading writing, playing my drums and listening to music. I live with my parents. they're divorced. see the dad everyother weekend. with ma the rest of the time.
I want to get my tounge pierced. I just got done with convincing my bf not to get a tatoo of me. I love opera. I spend ALOT of time on the computer. i'm bi, but havent been in a really serious relationship with a girl. oooh well.
i've been told that i cant really be labeled {it's true} my style range is HUMONGOUS~!!! i'm obsessed with heels. i'm a "hardass in heels". parents really like me because i get along GREAT with adults... so, yeah.

Uh.. so I'm in 9th grade. I plan on being an Optromitrist.
I live in Downtown L.A., Californa. I live with my Mother since my parents are divorced. Don't get to see my Father a lot though.
I love manga.
My hobbies are reading, if I get the time to I go cycling, spend sometime on the computer, art (sketching,drawing,painting..etc), write (poems & storys), and unless I've got nothing eles to do I'll get one of my school books and read them.

Why hello..I don't know why I decided to partake in this 'nutshell' kinda thing but I did..anyways, on to unnecessary introduction.
Name's Ana, currently 15 and going to be a freashman at University Senior High School here in Los Angeles, California. Um..before making any assumptions, no, I didn't flunk, get it right.
When I get to college I probably want to study and be a psychologist or a math teacher. Crazy idea, but I love math and going into people's heads ^^.
I enjoy reading, writing poetry and listening to music on my spare time.
I am a bisexual female who is now sort of leaning towards being straight, even though I'm still strictly attracted to women. I am also a part of what people like to call 'online relationship' with my bf...^^
I am obsessed about bunnies so yeah, don't get me started on that >.<
I still live with my parents if that wasn't obvious enough, along with my 2 older brothers who are 17 and 18.
That's me....well, the person that everyone sees anyways. And not the 'all me'...

My name is Laura. I'm still in highschool(going into 11th grade). I'm planning on going into the coast guard for about 4 years and serving my term. After which I plan to get my bachelors in marine biology.
pretty much I love science, swimming, anything art(I love drawing realistic things... I think they're better than anime... even though I do that once in a while).
I have 4 pets. I have a dog, she's half pomeranian half jack russel terrier. However, if I had my way... I would have a dog that I work with(I volunteer at a shelter). She is half American Staffordshire terrier and half American pitbull terrier. My dog is named Hannah, and the dog I want is Iris. I also have a black longhaired cat: Mama, a black bear hampster: Bear, and a black and white rat: Artemis(according to my mom... but her name is actually Pudding) heart
I'm a bisexual 16 year old girl, but my mom and some of my friends are the only ones who actually know. As for the others.. I don't want to test their reactions sweatdrop

I'm Amber, I'm 20 years old. I'm a lesbain and have been out of the closet so to speak for 5 years.
I live in a small, straight, Christian community so being a lesbain here is really hard. I hope to move to a near-by city someday.
I dropped out of high school when I was 16 because I was going through major depression because it seemed that was a good year for almost everyone on my mother's side of the family to die.. atleast all the ones that I was really attached to. The depression was so bad that I had anxiety attacks in school and spent most of my time in the coucilers office. I stopped going to school because I couldn't take it, they started calling my mom and threatening to put her in jail if I didn't go and I didn't want that, so I just dropped out.
I plan on going to GED classes as soon as the next round of them starts. Then hopefully by atleast Winter, I'll have my GED.
I don't have a license, but I have a car.. a car that the previous owner sold us and then disappeared before she signed over the title, now we need to file an expensive bond with the DMV just to get a new title for it. It's a 1992 Red Geo Metro Convertible, it's really not my style, but a car is a car right? Beggers can't be choosers.
My sister is moving back home at the end of the month and promises to teach me how to drive.. finally, since my mom has been too scared to.
I want to go to a community college as soon as I can afford to. There are many things that I would like to study, many carrers I'm interested in. I guess when the time comes I'll make a decision, but right now I have no idea.
That's me in a nutshell and man, it's cramped in here. blaugh

I'm 17 years old, male.
gay. I first came out about a year ago, however, I'm not really out to everyone. (Most of my family/friends doesn't know.)
I know that almost none of them would have a problem with it, I just don't want to proclaim it. I consider my sexuality to a be a small part of who I am, it's not really important in my eyes.
I have to upgrade to obtain my diploma, which I'll be doing through online courses probably in the next year or two. I want to work first, so I've been working at a Cookie store, and recently got a second job at a Clothing store.
In school I enjoyed art and chemistry (although I'm not very good at either.) When it comes to long term goals, I have few. The only thing I really want to do in my life, is write publish at least one novel.

My name is padfoot. It doesn't matter what my real name is, that's what all my friends call me anyway.
I want to major in art but beyond that I really don't know what I want to do with my life. When I was younger I believed that I could go on epic quests to other worlds and I'd still love to do that as a job. -laughs-
I love reading and acting and anything artsy.
I have a job as an asistant teacher at a local art studio and I'm taking classes there as well and striving to get into a good art school.
The funny thing is when I picture me as an adult I really cant. I know I love art and I'll go to collage for at but I cant even see me being an artist. I love theater but I really cant see myself as a profesional actress. I have a weird feeling that whatever I'll end up doing as a job I'll probably have to make it up as I go along.
I'm Bi and 15 and a sophmore in highschool. That about wraps me up in a nutshell.

Okay, here it goes...Lets just say i've been an inactive guild/gaia member for quite some time now, so if this seems a little late, then deal with it!
My name is Jonathan, though my nicknames are countless! sweatdrop I'm actually a culinary major with a year left for my AOS. Yes that means i know, love, and can cook up a storm! hehe
lets see what else....oh i love music. I'm part of a musically adept family, so yes i did sing in school, i was in band (that means i admit to being a band dork) I was even drum major senior year. right now I'm workin in a lil music shop in town that my dad's been workin at for like 27 yrs. We're lookin to some day take over the store, and if that happens, then i guess i'll just be a closet chef. hehe at least i'd know how to entertain guests. 4laugh
there are other topics like bad relationships and what not that just don't seem pressing to discuss right now, so i won't. SO THERE! XP

Hi, I'm tired. (v_v) Nice to meet you. *passes out* I'm currently attending a small liberal arts college in southern California and my intended, though not yet declared, major will be women's studies. Fascinating; if you get a chance to take a women's studies course, do it. It'll blow your mind (so to speak ><; ). I love reading and writing, but I'm not getting a whole lot of time to do so for recreation. My classes are making me do plenty of that for them, though. I used to sing with a choir - a couple of school ones, actually - and I was big into the theatre department at my high school. Me=love stage managing. whee Erm...I took four years of Spanish, so I often confuse the shite out of myself when studying Japanese (I start wanting to say something in Spanish, and it's fun =D). I am bisexual, and I have been out for around three years. I'm having to go through the outing process again, though, as I just moved to college and am meeting entirely new people. It's not fun to do this more than once. mad It's so friggin' hard to find the right way to bring it up, or even to bring it up at all. I aspire to become a lawyer - I hate the inequalities in the US and in the world, and I would love to do whatever I can to fix them. I greatly look forward to working with Lambda Legal in my future. Hmm...I have been a member of this guild for ages, but I'm constantly finding myself busy, and so only show up every now and then. It makes me sad. ;-; A lot of the people I used to hang out with here are no longer here. I guess that's it, at least for now. Night, all!
