Sometimes when my mic is broken or lost Halo2 all of a sudden isnt that fun. When I have no mic when I'm playing a custom game with random people I get blamed for not loading the map and get boted cuz most of thetime that i have no mic or cuz Im Alaskan (those rasicts..). So yea.. it sucks, what happens to you if you have no mic on?

My mic works fine... but some of my friends with crappy connections can't hear certain people... sometimes it's me, sometimes not.

I don't play certain games if I don't have a mic, like Halo 2, Rainbow Six: Critical Hour, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, or Doom 3. In Halo, the same thing happens to me. I get blamed for not loading the map or people get mad because they can't find me on a big map and they can't just make sure I'm there by talking or asking me where I'm at. On Rainbow Six people (for some reason) boot me from the session just because I don't have a mic and when they run into my nades and I couldn't say 'Watch Out!' I get yelled at for purposely team-killing. On Splinter Cell and Doom, I can't play co-op because when people come in they are like 'Hello? Are you there? Hello? Say something! Come on! Do you have a mic? Hello? Do you have a mic? Are you there?' and it gets annoying, plus I can't guide them through a level if they haven't played it before or to tell them 'Watch Out For That -whatever it was-!' But some games I can play because people don't talk much or it isn't absolutely necessary that you can talk, like Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Tony Hawk American Wasteland, Star Wars Battlefront II (I can't even figure out how to talk to people on that one), and/or Project Gotham Racing 2. I've been looking at this nice new mic because my current one is unusable every other day, but I've been blowing it off to get new games. So I'm going to get it probably on Friday.

By the way everyone, this Friday when I come home from school (which is 2:20 p.m. US Mountain Time), I'm going to the mall, getting that mic, and am going to be playing a wide assortment of Xbox Live game all night long, since my sister is going to Phoenix for a concert and my dad probably won't bother me all night, so I'll be able to stay up and play. So if you want you can get on and we can play the night away.
