The Endless sea is just as the name suggests, an expanse of ocean that stretches out far past the ends of the horizon, eventually curling around to form the Elite Plains into one large island, and then fall away from existance. Near the Razor Fields are great expanses of beachfront property, near the forests are tropical areas that extend out into fertile waters filled with life. At the boundary of the Mountains large metallic structures exit the side of a great volcano that has been long since dormant, the sides caved in destroying the forge and conveyor belts out to the sea. These structures are intended to cool large metallic items by dipping them into the sea, with machines working on them all along the way.

*Approaching the shoreline, the virtually weightless orb began to slowly descend in a broad arc, the inner layers spinning less frequently then before. Although by this point, it made no difference to the sole passenger still lying lax against a frozen side, having already slipped off into unconsciousness.*
*With four layers to act as a buffer zone, the inner most ‘bubble’ felt little more then a cushioned landing as the icy sheen met and rolled over an upraised area of the shore line, the sides becoming speckled with a sandy texture as it entered the surf. The shallow most waves lapping about the sides..tugging it back and forth almost rocking the sphere in a gentle lullaby as bobbled in the sparkling blue waters.*

*In small caves near the shoreline, having taken shelter from the flames, a group of bird-men, known as Aven, watch as it slowly comes to a stop. They glance at one another, hidden in the shadows, uncertain as to what to do about the sphere...*

*With no outer power to reinforce the interlocking pattern of frozen water, the rings slowly began to melt with little persuasion from the waters. The outmost one becoming thin and fragile where it was directly in connect with the gentle waves.. the sides becoming frail enough to split against the inner friction of the next in line, till it cracks in a fashion similar to an egg, the thin sheets of ice dispersing into the sea.*
*After loosing two of the outer layers, the inner one becomes less pillowed against the rocking of the waves, the passenger becoming jostled more frequently and incidentally acting as a mechanism to wake her from the dreamless slumber.*

*One of the older Aven steps forth, leaning upon a staff with two glowing semicircles at each end, facing opposie directions. As he leans on it small glowing runes of bright blue form on the ground around it. He hobbles over closer to the sphere, the others urging him to stop and come back, fearing more flame.*

*After several abrupt collusions with the sphere’s inner wall, Kalie's eyes fluttered open, a look of utter confusion masking her face once her mind fully comprehended that she was lying in a frozen bubble, currently nestled in a shallow group of waves..with no sign of Torment or the other..*
*Gazing over the sandy shore, her eyes fell upon the elderly creature hobbling in her general direction, her first instinct being to move proving to land her in a disheveled heap, as her shoes slipped on the slick surface while attempting to stand.*

*The Elder kept walking towards her, knowing full well there would be no more flame. As he approached he stamped his staff upon the ground and the orbs began to melt faster. He called out to her, a greeting, in a variety of languages, most with series of screeches or some sort of aquatic language, even something close to english, but with a thick accent that was similar to the screeching.*

*Giving it another shot, her hand pressed against the quickly dissolving wall for balance as she stood, the remaining layers dissipating entirely just as Kalie gained enough balance to fully stand. Making several hurried steps out of the water upon loosing her only form of a barrier, she gestured what she hoped would be taken as friendly greeting to the elder, through a gentle wave of her hand and quiet hello. Taking one of the finial sounds uttered from his mouth as the same, through the heavy bird like accent.*

"English you speak, yes...I see it. Aven, the Fateshaper I am. What are you been inside the spheres of forged water for? Come you from the bladed grasslands? See you the flame and the cause?"
*His head twitched every once in a while and his beak clacked with each syllable.*

*As he spoke, as if on que, the ring that was born of the stars seems to grow cold.*

*At the same moment her eyes caught sight of the fading luster, Kalie felt a sharp twinge in her chest, followed by an overwhelming sense of dread..*
"Does that mean.. he is.. Torment didn't survive?"
*Trying to brush the unwelcome thoughts aside, her brows rose in minor curiosity*
"God?..which god.."

*At the inquiry of his god he straightens up with a loud crack in his back and stands tall, staff out before him as he groans slightly. Halfway trhrough he fell over, (at the ugh) but continued as if he hadn't.*
"I am the last disciple of Fate. I can see what has been, what is, and what will be. I can even alter Fate when need be, but only under circumstances that Fate deems fit. Ugh. I am the last of the Ageless Sentinels. We guard the sanctity of Fate and await the return of our patron diety."
*He lays there groaning a bit as two Aven rush over to help him up.*

*Falling very quiet, Kalie's chin fell to her chest, as a lone tear traced a damp path down her cheek, several smaller ones following after un-summoned.*
"Then why save me.. only to be alone."
*Paying no mind to the other Aven, whom had joined the first in order to support him, Kalie merely stood on the shore feeling as though she was slowly sinking into the sands, gradually swallowed up by her own sadness.*

*Using his staff for support he shrugs off the other two Aven as he hobbles over to Kalie and puts a wing around her, still holding his staff in both hands.*
"Sorrow will end. It is garunteed. Maybe not by myself or Fate, but it always ends."
*The next few words he speaks hold a different tone and accent to them, almost as if another were speaking through him. A ripple runs over his grungy and few clothes as they seem to shift to orange and back to their dull blackish grey.*
"FATE, come unto me. Send me the guidance that I need to aid this young one. Allow me the sight and the wisdom beyond even my years to help her."
*He twitches once....twice...three times. When he speaks his vice returns to how it was originally.*
"Come you must. Fate wills it. The Ranger, carry you he will."
*One of the other Aven steps forth and turns around.*
