How are you all liking the event so far?
There's been some bumps, been some bruises, definately been some arguments... but when you throw so many people into one room and tell them to all go at it without establishing a real turn order before hand and with people just going head to head in a way that promotes chaos and utter devastation on a massive scale and- *GASP.*
...so... how do you like it?

So far I'm liking it alot actually.
On one hand I really like how the area movement is set up. By rolling my movements, I ended up totally cut off from home base for a bit.
Basically, I got surrounded, and to have that happen in an event was cool. surprised
The objective thing is a nice tough because it gives people something to accomplish, which they can all focus on. (Except for those who choose not to of course.) Gives the event a more involved feeling. And apparently people have fun as every single person made a straight shot for the dam.
Also, the NPC aspect is being pretty well done. As in having to pull reinforcements from home base to get more of them.
If I had to complain about any one thing, it would be the lack of a map (But that is apparently getting fixed / already fixed!). Or...
Well apparently only that one thing as I could not pull up anything else. M'kay thx bai!

Pretty awesome, everyone's got a little action for everyone else.
And... Uh, we need a memorable quotes thread.

themightyjello That was a seriously sick argument. Y'all need to chillax and move on with things. TRUTH We also need to sleep a little over an hour in a 24 hour span. I'm gettin' tired.

Too short.
It was absolutely fantastic overall, there were a lot of rough patches, but player characters never seem to rub together the right way. Some mod decisions pissed me off, but those were mostly personal feelings getting in the way of logic and the fact that s**t needed compromising and to be moved along.
I loved the territory system, and while the objectives got a little ********, they were still enjoyable. But three days was not enough for a conquest type of deal like I felt this was. While PoC could probably have been shorter, this needed at least a week, although I gotta commend my team on regrouping after that first team and learning how to work together. I'unno if that's any help, but it's what I've got to say, so yeah...
Many thanks to all of you for running this business, can't wait for the next one.

*Writes something*
Overall, twas a WIN.
The teamwork factor made it hella more enjoyable than running around alone hating on everyone.

:Ending Reaction:
This event was one of the funnest RPGing scenrios I've ever been in, although a little sloppy at times, I had fun all the way through and by me being able to participate in this one for all three days I found that I will be certain to join the next.
:Overall Judgement:
Hardcore Roleplaying Madness. Nice.

Two complaints, the rest all awesome.
First complaint was that as a person who hasn't attended an event like this before (ASDF joined Grand Wish as Gaian Defenders: Super Genki Team Make Up!, but I wasn't able to attend), I found myself very lost at first. There wasn't really a superclear beacon that said, "Miners, post HERE first". Once I found my feet, the setup was really super awesome. Reminded me of my MUSH days, with all the different rooms. (In fact, I might be able to volunteer my computer as a MUSH server should we wanna do stuff like this again in this format....we'd have to use logfiles to collect all the really great RP though.)
Second complaint: time!
Too short! This would have been fun to keep going for a week, maybe even more. In this same category: letting us know in advance what form of time the system used would have been good, but you already know that...I'm really happy you chose the method you did (let it run on even when there was no moderation)
Those criticisms were small things though...and obviously just the "rough edges" result of the spur-of-the-moment decision to use the format you did. The rest was awesome, really great, and otherwise lovely. 3nodding In fact, this experience has made me want to create a GNG (see sig) sponsored event of this type. I'll actually be talking to Tanasha and Nida/Saoszuc ASAP to see if it's possible.

Lesee...
Aiolos has now...
Ridden on a dirtbike getting shot at. Protected a highly explosive mage while getting shot at. Got near the dam with said mage. Escaped certain doom with said mage. Dumped said mage with Shade, who used said mage as bait. I think. Flew. Got shot at while flying. Crawled into a mine. Found someone in mine. *MASS CHAOS* (All you need to know.) Ran like hell. Took the Blazing plains. Went to the river. Got shot at, again. Created a twister of icy DOOM and tormented the shade armies. GAME OVER. The end.
I say that's one hell of an RP you guys made, thanks a lot! mrgreen

I need my own labtop. I'm never online sharing a comp with the family, not enough to do anything worth doing, I get booted whenever I start.
This, and the event, I think should have had less cram hours per day and been spread over about a week.
Despite not fighting Sir Roxsohard, he is what made PoC, but this event, as a whole, has displayed much major kick-assery. As a sort of a judge/player.
Except people need to chill, stay in smaller groups, and establish clear post order. Seven hour mine fight; bad. Two on two brawls; good. Unclear abilities and arguments over use and effectiveness;bad. Melee brawls; good.
I got to do nothing with the hero really, due to times and jams when I tried to help people, plus holding back and being cautious because my head was major points.
But the two tigers vs Quin was a seriously kick a** fight.
