After listening to the speech during the opening ceremony, and her guardian's rather annoying banter about how the speech could've been so much better, Kari thought it would be fun to kick off the festival with a game or two. She was thankful when Koko went off to do, well, whatever it was that she did while she was out.
Kari didn't care all that much, anyway.
"Choices, choices," the thule pondered. The only prompt she went off of was what sounded like it would be entertaining, and everything did, really. Either that, or she was just a very dull individual.
"Hmph. Maybe the goldfish bowl game will be good."

Roxy curiously wandered around before finding some games she smiled and looked at April figuring out the duck hunt game. She held the relic carefully in one hand still held close to her chest with the other she gently scooped up one of the ducks as it floated past.

Roxy's ears perked as she set the duck marked with a three to one side and picked out another with care. She shook the water off the ducks bottom and turned it over to reveal it's number.

Adding up the ducks numbers in her head she showed them to April with a smile.
"Nine...not bad eh?"
She normally wasn't one for games of luck and chance but considering there was nothing to loose it seemed alright. She set the ducks back in the water watching as they mixed into the floating crowd for the next person to pick.

(( Here is a picture of Medea. <3)) Wotcher looked apprehensively around the museum, utterly dumbstruck. Attracted by the open doors and the faint, yet absolutely wonderful smells drifting from the back, Wotcher had entered the large building with a rather casual stroll, never once considering he might not be welcome. Even now, listening to...whoever's speech, the thought was far away, if it even existed at all. Medea crossed her arms sullenly, scowling up at the orange-eyed dork who had dragged her in here. Knowing Wotcher, they weren't even supposed to be in here and at this very moment, the security guards were probably gathering, readying their tazer guns.
Ignoring the woman who was giving the boring speech, Medea silently surveyed the room, her serpentine tail sweeping the floor with agitation. The stern, golden gaze came to rest upon...Who, or what rather, was that? She had a metal arm! Oh, that's the fashion statement of the year. thought Medea, a smirk coming to her lips."Oh, Medea look, fish!" Wotcher said this with much more enthusiasm than a grown man should, and with a wild grin upon his face, he set off toward the fish...and Kari with her oh-so-fashionable metal arm.

Kari was only slightly aware of the approaching pair, still pondering over which game she'd play. Tapping her chin with a metallic finger and sporting a pout on her face, from the previous thought of possibly being boring, she considered a few things. The duck hunt game seemed to be the easiest one, but the thule wasn't a very lucky individual, save for a few incidents.
All the other games involved throwing things, and Kari didn't quite think that was her forte. But, if she played the goldfish game, she could win a pet!
"I guess I could play that one. Hmm.."

Arriving at the goldfish booth with something of skip-hop, Wotcher continued to beam at the small fishbowls. Well, this looked easy enough! Peeking beyond the man with the 'fro, Wotcher almost squealed aloud at the sight of the adorable fish, each contained safely in a water-filled plastic bag. "Medea, should I try?"
Ignoring Wotcher's pointless question with an eye roll, Medea then returned to observing the metal-armed freak with a even sideways glance, as the two seemed to be around the same height. She hadn't even acknowledged they had arrived! Did she even know? How dense could one be?
The Thule, Medea surmised, would actually have been a bit cute if it wasn't for that hideous metallic limb. Why must people mutilate their bodies? Unless, it was an accident...Before she could stop herself, Medea had asked the question, "What happened to your real arm?"

The thule turned in the direction of the voices, knocked out of her thoughts. She'd never seen these two people around before, so they must've been new, nevermind the fact that she hadn't stepped foot inside the museum for seemingly ages.
"That's a pleasant way to greet someone," Kari tilted her head a bit, not in the least offended by the statement, just confused. "If you must know, a serial killer chased me down with an axe and, when he cornered me, lopped off my arm. Luckily, someone from the police was nearby and managed to get him."
You never cease to amaze me, sister. But, honestly, Katana chided her, do you think she's that stupid? You don't even know her.
Just having a little fun. Kari shrugged.

Unable to bring herself to break her diet though the howling pains of starvation called, Renata mosied over to the games area where she found a lively group of people. The most violent of the games, Dunk Hunt, appealed to her desire to relax and shoot things in lieu of punching them. Unfortunately, there was no guns or shooting range, just a cute little pool with ducks floating around.
"Cute. Disappointing, yet strangely charming," The professional kick boxer mused, bending down and plucking a brightly painted green and black duck from the water. Followed up by a sassy purple and gold zebra stripe, and topped off by a violently pink and teal one with white leopard spots.
"Here goes nothing," she encouraged herself as she lined up the ducks side by side on her hand, preparing to flip them onver one by one.

Sparkles sauntered to one of the game booths. She was really begining to like this place. Sure, the opening speech went on forever but once you got past that and the Thules running around the place was quite nice. Sparkles had been admiring one of the Thules and did not even realized where she was going. She started day dreaming when someone asked her a question...

Renata found the two glued to the first little duckie's underbelly. Her eyebrow twitched in irriation. Lifting the duckie to eye level, she gave him a double squeeze, his squeaking returned the brow to normal as a childish smirk swept her face. Setting the first back on the rim of the pool, Renata reached for the second.
"Ah man, well. Maybe the next one will catch me up a bit," Renata shrugged, patting the duckie on the head.
The shattering of her heart nearly rattled the walls when Renata saw the second duckie's flashy bottom. A big fat one stared back mercilessly at her. She covered her mouth the instant she felt obscenities rapidly filling it. Her face pale and her hands shaky, Renata set the second duckie back down.
"You stupid mother... duckie," she hissed softly. "You were supposed to help me out here."
Shaking her shoulders and loosening them up a bit, she turned her attention to the pink, teal, and white. The obnoxiously decorated duck was her last chance at a decent prize. However, any way she looked at it, the three couldn't help her much since there were no prizes for 3 points plus E. Her long ponytail slid forward over her shoulder, the tips brushing the ducks in the water.
"Well, I doubt I'd get points for creativity and use of algebra," Renata said, looking up at the clerk. "I've got a 2, 1, and a 3... or an E if you hold it upside down."

((Replying to Koko's post. XP))
Medea narrowed her eyes at the Thule, not amused by Kari's version of 'fun.' If this ugly, mangy, part robotic b***h wanted to tell jokes, she had surely picked the wrong audience. "I'm not a stranger to sarcasm." Medea crossed her arms once again, and though her eyes were still narrowed, her face had been pulled into what was unmistakably a pout. Time to put on the ol' act. Dammit, I shouldn't have said the 'stranger to sarcasm' line. It will make this harder.
"Besides, I was just asking. Your sadistic joke is just as, if not more, rude than my greeting. What if someone really was chased by a serial killer..." Medea spoke with an entirely fake, yet subtuly convincing, fearful tone, biting her lip to go along with the scene. She wanted Kari to feel sorry for the snide remark. Hag.

Kari pouted; a very genuine pout, mind you.
"You're one of the rudest children I've met, you know," she said, only assuming that this person was only a child. Obviously, the thule thought, this girl had no sense of humor whatsoever. That wasn't quite the reaction she was hoping for, either; she wanted to spring the suprise once she fell for it! Not cool, ruining the joke like that.
"If someone really had been chased by a serial killer, then everyone would know about it, duh," Kari stated bluntly, thinking it was a question. "So, the joke might've been a little mean, but it isn't as if you'd believe me if I told you otherwise."
