So with four more days until the release of Dirge of Cerebrus, what is your thoughts on the game. Do you think it will be a success or a failure? Now in 2006, does Final Fantasy VII still have the power to make this game a must by for all fans of Vincent and Final Fantasy VII?
Side Question: Which part of the whole Final Fantasy VII compilation are you longing to get? As for me it would have to be the novel written about Aeris. Yes, I'm an Aeris Fanboy.

Thoughts about the game...hmmm
Well, going back to FFVII it ended with Meteor being destroyed and nothing else being known about the future of the characters there, only assumptions. Then comes AC, revealing that Jenova's children are still about along with 'Mother' herself. Cloud isn't doing well, the others are finding ways to fix Gaia, and Vincent seems to be helping out discreetly while finding out the answers beforehand....as usual.
Then there's a future beyond AC to reveal that there's still some problems to be dealt with and Vincent seems to be at the front of it. In a sense, this will be a two for one game fixing in on the future and ever-so-mysterious past that was only seen in glimpses and little comments here and there.
Well, woot. sweatdrop I completely forgot about its arrival until I was re-informed of it in a thread before coming here and finding this. Haha, still, I'm choosing not to get it so soon when I'm still infatuated with KHII and will be for quite awhile. sweatdrop
Gameplay, instead of being a blunt weapon, AKA a sword, you'll now have a gun to be effective in long range attacks that you'll have to think your way through the game. Ah, humor. Still, I haven't checked up on the game's status in months so.....I don't know the whole story on things.
Oh. Well.
From my gathered info I've learned that the Japanese version had some problems with it that SE's been trying to fix for the NA version. It may not be a great success, but amongst all the adoring fans they will love it all the same. With the PS3's oncoming arrival rushing things seems to be a factor even though it should be out of the question entirely. Gamers, new and old, will pick up soon to be 'old' games anyway. What does it matter.
But, yay! DoC's here! sweatdrop
Seeing as I'll soon have access to the Compilation of FFVII I seem to be longing for Crisis Core....seeing as...I don't have a PSP and don't plan on getting one any time soon. Ah....pity.

A magazine that I saw (more like my sister saw) said that it wasn't going to be released until August 22nd.
And people keep saying it comes out on August 15th.
So I'm confused.
Which is it?

I was longing to get Last Order for a while. . But I finally got it. -^-^-
Yeah, I wanna get the novel about Aerith.
And the release was postponed to the 22nd, because not enough people reserved it. Not my fault I don't have a PS2. >_> Wait. . Yes it is. Ah well.

my thoughts, mixed fan reaction, some will like it, some wont, will most likely get a 3 out of 5, I saw gameplay footage, seemed rather boring compared to other action RPG's like Oblivion, and has a action game it doesn't seem as action packed as Devil May Cry, Ninety Nine Nights, or Onimusha. And Vincent looks like he needs to comb his hair

i started playing it today and its not meant to be as action packed as all those games. Although i am quited surprised as to how much action is in this game. I actually expected it to be more rpgish than action but its the other way around and im here to tell you they did a good job. now i havent beaten it yet but im happy with it....very happy.
