Original Spell: An old Arctic shaman wished to possess all the reindeer herds of his many enemies, and all those herds that belonged to the foreigners across the Sea in every direction: South, East, West, and North. To gather the reindeer more quickly, he chanted an incantation to make them fly to him at once from all the corners of the world
What went wrong: Being old and and having a weak voice, his incantation to the spirits was misheard, and instead of being granted instant, flying reindeer, he recieved a crying, infant reindeer. The spirits seemed to have gotten the bit about flying, though; the tiny antlers poking from her shoulders seem to have been their way of putting wings on a reindeer
