J.R.R. Tolkien: Lord of the Rings Tim Lahay and Jerry B. Jenkins: Left Behind C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia (although I absolutely love his Philosophy and Poetry) J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter Ken Ham: Lots of Christian Apolegetics books Sir Arthur Connan Doyle: Sherlock Holmes Avi: Lots of good books Brian Jaques: Red Wall series Frank Peretti: (see Avi) Jane Austen(sp?): (see Peretti) Watership Down: can't remember author
Looonnnggg tedious list I know, but what can I say? I'm a bookworm sweatdrop For the authors that I didn't place a book it's because I can't choose a book/series. And books without authors are usually due to my poor memory.

I am looking for any good Christian books. I was looking at Left Behind at the bookstore so I might start reading that series. If anyone has any good books they can recommend me that'll be awesome. biggrin

I like C.S. Lewis. We have so many common interests, including the love of Christ. I really love the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. Truly uplifting. But I don't like the Screwtape Letters exactly. As I read that book he made it sound like all of our thoughts were harnessed by Satan, even our feelings of the Holy Spirit. He made it seem like "we're foolish humans who will fall for anything that has to do with God." and i just kind of thought...well God is God, there's no "foolishness" about it. I dunno.
But I'm interested to read Thr3e...I've heard about it a few times now.
