Dark feet streaked across the ground, finally all four touching at once when they were meant to. It had been an incredily long time since Korou had run this way, though he was blind in one eye and steadily losing the sight in his other, the dark orange spotted cheetah could still run with the wind if he wanted too. The speed at which he was running kept his tail from wagging the way it was attempting to, the way it always did when he was this happy.
In short he was just nuts, but the juvenile didn't think that way... like he ever would. Instead he just felt the wind roll over his short fur and fluff his ruff of white and black streaked fur on the back of his neck up.
Spying a rock in the distance, Korou decided that would be as good a place as any to sit down and find something to eat. It was high at least right?
Right. ninja

*Sitting along side the large rock Aleu rested. She had been coming out into these lands in search of her friend Tu- no luck today but Aleu could keep trying. Yawning softly the lioness lay still, her body keeping cool along side the shadow of the rock. Her deep blue eyes narrowed as she purred to herself.
She would be going home soon to her mate, so until then she enjoyed her time alone… along the lands that she was born into. Her tail batted from side to side as she yawned, her paws resting one on top of the other. Today had been uneventful but that’s how life was sometimes.*

With what would seem like incredible speed to anyone else, Korou managed to knock against the rock with his front legs and send himself sailing over the sides to the top where he promptly sat down and wagged his tail panting from the exertion it put on him. He was so busy panting that he didn't even notice that he wasn't exactly alone. But then that didn't matter to him.
Wagging his tail he looked out over the savannah before him, watching the long grasses be blown about by the incredible winds. It was his turn to hunt, his turn to learn all on his own. If it killed him he would come home with something more than a simple hare this time too. ninja

*Sitting up the lioness let the winds pass her brown and cream coat; a soft smile passed maw her as she moved to her paws. What a lovely afternoon is was- and the winds seemed to blow her in another direction, like fate beckoning her to follow. Softly she eyed over to the left of her and stopped’ black and orange passing her dark blue orbs.
Aleu had never really come in contact with a cheetah before- so she didn’t really know how to come about addressing the cub that had passed her. He looked to be on his way to something- but what? Out of pure interest Aleu softly trotted herself closer to him, speaking.*
"H-hello!"
*She called out, her ears pinning upward. With a soft smile she welcomed the cheetah cub.*

Swiveling on his rock, Korou stared down at the rather large and pretty brown lioness below him with a smile, his only good eye flashing because the other was clouded over from misuse and scars. But from what he saw she was a rather pretty lioness, a smile spread over Korou's muzzle and he nodded his head brightly to her, wagging his long spotted tail out behind him as he stood and leapt down beside her.
Obviously he hadn't learned his lesson from the Elephant Graveyard that not all strangers were friends, but he didnt' mind that he hadn't, it made things more fun.
"Hello. How're you?" He wagged his tail a little faster and sat down to gaze up at the lioness with a pair of bright and filmy bi-colored eyes. ninja
