So I finally got V. I had a busted ps2 for a while, so I missed IV. But my friends all tell me that all I missed was some seaweed. I'll get IV eventually, and probably Tactics, despite hearing bad things about that as well.
A month or so ago I opened up my ps2 and fixed it. So after waiting to spend money when I was better off financially (I'm about to move into my apartment, and I needed to accumulate mo' money)- I got V a week ago.
I'm liking V. I'm happy to see it returned to the ways of I & II, only modified. One thing that bothers me though is how zoomed out it is, like the old birds-eye-view of the first two. I got used to the close up perspective of III =/

Hehe really? It hurt my eyes to look at the pretty screen *_* but I got used to it after awhile.
And, I don't think that tactics is bad at all~ I think's it's good that Konami made it. Although it was totally uncessesary, it explained a lot about how the Rune Cannons came to be and stuff.

And really, I'm glad that there is any expansion of history, like Tactics. But I really wish the Suikogaidens had come to america ;___;

Rhapsodia wasn't bad... it was short, that's all. And I'm sure a lot of people got frustrated when they realized they had to buy another game to understand it.
I wasn't too fond of the graphics though. Was I the only one who wanted to see Roget and Simeon's sexy faces (other than the portraits)?

Chikuu Rhapsodia wasn't bad... it was short, that's all. And I'm sure a lot of people got frustrated when they realized they had to buy another game to understand it. I wasn't too fond of the graphics though. Was I the only one who wanted to see Roget and Simeon's sexy faces (other than the portraits)?

Yeah, I don't like how they went back to the old view. I liked the S3, and S4 veiw better.
And another thing about S5, the duels. How much damage you give and recieve had nothing to do with your stats like in all the other Suikodens. The winner/loser was decided by whoever got hit a set number of times first. That was boring cuz' I can't obliterate people with my princely strength.

And, she's usually boys, and can be indentified in almost every animated piece of stuff ever. If you've played Star Ocean 3, she's Roger. Digimon Adventure, Izzy; Kyou Kara Maou, Wolfram; Wolf's Rain, Toboe; and I swear to God I thought for a while she was Jr. from Xenosaga, but she's not (I still have yet to find out for sure though...). So, you get the idea. And the list goes on. Do a google search on her... OMG...

I must say..I'm glad you've finally gotten SV, I didn't know it was coming out till someone said it was 'out today' then I skipped the rest of the school day and rushed to my local gaming store and hounded the employee to give me the free cell picture that came with it...
