Have an idea that should be implemented on the forum? Got something on your mind that you think would benefit this forum? Well then spill your soul here. Suggestion for new thing is always appreciated.

Is ther a way we can try to get more people to join?
Have more people donate to the guild. I always forget about that thing.
P.S. this is off topic but that guild donation thingy on the main screen, what is the gold used for? Does it cost gold to run the guild?

Well there's a steady flow of people making request to join daily (or every other day). The main issue is getting those people to actually post.

But as for an actual way.... Chikuu had a nice idea about putting an official thread in the main video game forum. We can then recruit from there. Another way is invites. The easiest way to invite is via the crew option. I'm planning on doing a sort of "Crew for a week" thing. Since I trust my members, I think it would be fun for them to interact from this side. There, you can likely invite users since I'm the only one who has immediate access to that.

The guild donation does not affect the ability to run the guild. Basically, no gold is needed to run the guild. It does, however, helps your ranking. Ranking is, from last I remember, affected by three criteria. One is member count, the second is total post and the last is guild account. The higher each one is, the higher your rank. We're currently ranked #20 on the Gaming section.

And that's about it.

Ok, got it. That official forum thingy sounds like a good idea. Though it could just make a bigger problem for the guild. What if it just brings in a bunch of new members that never post? I guess the first thing to do is find a way of making people more active. Maybe contests and giveaways. Like guess the qoute and win 50 gold or something like that.

That's always a possibility we must take into consideration.
Personally, I was thinking of sending out a PM to all of our members who have never posted (that's a lot of PMs...). In that PM, we could urge them to participate. And also give them the option of quiting the guild if they feel the only reason they joined the guild was because they played S4 once, and said: "Hey man, why not. I'll never post though. I just look cooler with all of my snazzy guilds I never post in."

Hmm this is totally off topic but... the guild members icons says that I'm a 'non-member'!!! eek What happened? gonk maybe I should type in my previous name?

Anywhoo...IS there a way to contact every member in guild like there is for your friends@gaia or something? =/ I'm pretty sure there is but I don't own a guild so I wouldn't know. That would be the easiest way to send out PMs to all members even the ones that post regularly. But the regular posters would know what you're talking about because they're regulars duh!

Genius. But a few people who posted once or twice would be all like: "homgwtfbbq?!"

Next time I'm over at my friends house I can send out the pm's or at least some of them, if you need me to. I just need to do something becuase I feel like I never help the guild out.

Meh, my monitor died, so It'll be a while before I have everything up. I hope to have a monitor by the beginning of next week. Sorry.

P.S. And about the Pming members. Please don't. I haven't decided on what to do about that yet, so hold off on doing so until I do. Thanks.
