i didn't like it.
it stayed true to the story line, for the most part.
but some of the casting was a bit dissappointing.
overall it seemed like it could've been better.
the movie almost looked like an excuse to cosplay too.
but what do you expect from Japanese movies/dramas?

I liked the movie ...though some parts made me a little sad because it wasnt like the anime sad ....I cried of course like I always do <33333. I effing love NANA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woot <3.

I loved the cast and the movie. There really isn't a thing I'd change about it. Except for being longer

It wasn't the perfect movie, but I liked it :3
Some of the Casting was extremely off, and in one case that was good
but the rest of them were eerily super accurate @ 3@;;

They choose the right characters for nana and hachiko it definitely did match with the manga = P umm only thing is that cut it off short =x but everything else is pretty good

All I know is that when Nana and Hachi caught Souji and Sachiko and the very ending had me near tears. I haven't completed the manga because in my area, I've only been able to acquire the first 4 volumes... but from the first 4 volumes I thought it was pretty good. Even the characters (not all). Ren wasn't that cute. >.> But Nana was adorable in all her angsty rockerness.

T-T i'd love to have all of them just like that, but i haven't been successful in finding them anywhere (online or off).... >.<

I was actually extremely disappointed with some of the casting. When I think about Ren I expected him to be fairly attractive, and the actor that played him didn't fit the role in my opinion. I can't wait to see the second movie to see if the actor playing Ren this time does any better.
