What chinese car companies are there? I haven't been to China for ages so I can't remember what cars there were.

To be honest I have never heard of any chinese car companies just Japanese companies. sweatdrop ^^: It seems that Japan has some factories in China.

There are some, but no one drives them anymore, so most of them have closed down or just have a really tiny production rate.

Well there is the Chery Automobile Co. which is a privately-owned Chinese car manufacturer that produces the QQ, a little city car that sells for less than RMB 50,000 or USD 6,000 or CDN 7,500.

Ok, just asked my dad, there's 夏历,上海三塔纳,红旗。。。
My dad's looking for his svaings book, which contains like $30000, so he's a bit pissed, I can't ask him anymore... stare

 Cars? how about the 1976 Dodge Monaco that the BLues Brothers drove in their movie? I would love to get that car. "It's got a cop motor: a 440 cubic inch plant. cold_blooded_chick ^ is that magicvials in your signature??? nope it's kurama35 hehe^^ @tamandrews and tamcharles: you should get a european or japanese car. you get more to the gallon than american cars.

Euro and jap cars are now too "plastic-y". I'd rather be in an iron box than in an aluminum can or plastic box if anything bad happens. eek
