I'm bad at questing for expensive items, because I like to get lots of cheap items
Like, I got a ton of the new clothes, something from every set, and I still want more!
The only reason I started a-questin' for something big was that I didn't really have anything left to quest for
And now I spent half my gold

This often happens to me.......
And then I have no gold.........
*is sad about it*
I quested for something a few times.
First, when I was very new to Gaia.
Then, when I discovered that I had a TON of gold and could get a Nitemare Bustier, which I really wanted.

I like to buy lots of cheap but pretty stuff and make weird combinations and then go for the pricey stuff

Every so often I decide, "I think I will reinvent my avi!" And run out and get cheap things that are black and a different hairstyle. But that's about it. I'm debating taking Gwee off my avi 'cos he's too polychromatic.

When questing, I never change my avatar. A vow I can keep with myself, heh. Then there's no urgency buy store items that will always be there and never inflate.
Though, some store items have disappeared...
It's time to start questing, my gold's at 666.

But you must have SOME build-up!
The only time I've ever seen it change was when you changed into noob-y clothing, and that stuff was free.

You know, maybe I don't change it, 'cause deep down I want to look like the anime character my avi is named after, even though there are no yellow jackets on gaia... crying Oh well, some day I'll make a mule, and s/he will wear different clothes, so don't worry... wink
