As some of you are aware, a recent thread in the ED telling people about Yom Hashoa was recently taken over by various people who claim that "no 6 million died" or that the Jews got what they deserved...
There are various Nazi guilds all over Gaia, which use the excuse that "we only belive in the workers parts and not Hitlers actions" which is an OBVIOUS guise to keep them from getting shut down, because as you can see most anti-semetic comments on public forums are made by members of these guilds...
There is another thread on the ED asking WHY people hate Jews so much...
So my question is what you all think about it? Why do you believe there is so much hate on Gaia?
Why would people who are white supremacists be on an online community based on the entertainment types of another race? (Japan)
How much aresenic should we dump in their water supply?

lol guys they only hate us because they are jealous of us..
judaism i look at it like a big privite club. we have our won calender, our own top secret so hard to learn on your own through books language, we have kick a** guilds, we have tons of celebs, we have our country, we have totally kick a** names like Rivka, or CHAYA <-- the best name of all, and and best part we have cute little hats the guys wear. ^.^
so they are totally and completely jealous of the coolness, so they are like
"gah they are so cool i'm so jealous i can't be cool like that"
then they get so jealous it frustrates then and then they are alike all "HA i'm so jealous" then they go off and throw little fits... and yea..
does that make any sence ::huggles you all:: but don't worry i'm not jealous i luvs ya all.

Yvette, it's more that we aren't trying to be a private club or anything. We just want to be able to do our own thing undisturbed. Saying that Judaism is like a private club just continues the stuff that Anti-Semites say, unfortunately.
Who knows why there is so much hatred on Gaia. I think that a lot of it is just that smaller groups can be very, very loud on Gaia. Like we seem to have a higher proportion of goth/punk types then RL, or anime freaks. So the smaller groups of white supremacists are able to be much, much louder.
As for their hypocriticalness, well, they're Nazis. What do you expect? Hitler himself was the king of hypocrites, remember? He said that the Aryans were the master race and yet he wasn't Aryan!
How much arsenic? Hm... I'm not sure. How can we be sure we won't kill off the nice goyim at the same time?

We're not a private club, nor do we act like one. It's not as if to be Jewish you have to carry around a card, wave it to the guard at the gate, sink through decompression chambers and enter your password to go to shul- it's not about exclusion, it's about inclusion. The inclusion of the desire to do good deeds. It sounds cheesy, but if you look at Judaism as either exclusive or inclusive, it's inclusive in that sense. Rarely is it looked at like that, though, and with good reason- whether a person is a Jew or isn't a Jew doesn't matter, it's what they do for the world. I'd hope the best part of Judaism to you isn't honestly the kippot, and that you aren't interested because you think you're gaining access to a private club.

ok sorry everyone about what i said, i know i should have like clarified that i was being stupid and trying to lighten the mood. lol. i've noticed i'm horrible at stuff like making people happy redface
ok i was being stupid i know that judaism is not like some privite club and stuff i know that there is way more to judaims than just the surface that people know have become facinated with. I respect judaism and any other religion fully.
I will try and filter the bordom alot more in the guild I am so very sorry if I offended anyone that much. If you would like me to completely erase the message, just tell me and I will or like some higher power person can do that.

to Jyu: thank you for explaining that all to me, and no i don't want to join judaism to just be in judaism.. i take religion very seriously ... oddly enough i'm a very religious person. sweatdrop yea freaky i know.
I want to join judaism so i can find that special group of people that i can go to and find friends that i can talk to and not have to watch everything i say. I want to go to a religous function and have to avoid talkign to people because they start to talk about politics and they think everything that i don't agree with. I want a place where the i can agree with the religion and be able to have real faith in what i am being told about god. ... dos that make sense at all o.0

However just because your not jewish doesn't mean you can't believe Hashem is god. As I said non-jews have laws given to them by god..... What many consider the 2nd biggest miracle recorded in tanach (Joshua holding up the sun so it wouldn't turn to shobbos) occured to defend non-jews (I'm lucky #3000!!!!!)

frankly the holocaust was a reality. However, to dwell on it is somewhat morbid and moribund.
for example: the Spanish invaided south and central americas at various times.. what was the death count? 20 million? - sorry it kind of got blurry after a while.
ive gone over death counts before, I'm sure you've heard of Stalin's fun aproach to humanities.
Recently while archiving new books in my library i discovered the Inquisitions may have been resonsible for as many as 9 million people, and no less than 600,000.
if i were a respector of persons, it could be said that I respect the Jewish people as much as I respect the Indus, and hebrew and sanskrit are two of my favorite languages.
I'm not sure how many Hindus were killed over the millenia, but when you have a population over 1 billion, even 1% = 10 million eek

The main reason that it is dwelled upon so much is that this is the JEWISH gaian's guild and it is especially important to all of us because most are related to a survivor or victim in the Holocaust. Also, if you read Jyu's excellent post, you read these really profound words about never forgetting, but not dwelling on the past. If you are referring to the number of Holocaust remembrance day/anti-semetic threads, that would most likely be because there is over 50 people saying that they agreed with Hitler's actions in World War II in a thread made a few days ago, and several saying that Jews were wastes of the air that they breathe, which is quite annoying and rude. I understand your point that Stalin and many others killed much more throughout history, but there is nobody that is still saying (at least to my knowledge) that they deserved it. I am not trying to make light of those deaths or say they were not as important as the Holocaust, but it holds a special significance to all of us, and it happened more recently. Like I said before, no offense is meant or anything of the sort.

I'm not "dwelling" on it, but I just don't think we have the right to forget that such attrocities happened...
"Weep but wipe away the tears" and all that <3
And it just makes me sad when people deny it even happening. All genocides were tradgedies. That is the truth. But for some odd reason, this is the only one that has people avidly claiming that it never happened...
