Well If you think about it, wouldn't sephiroth be more of a Good Guy than a bad guy? I mean really... His goal was to bring everyone to 'the promised land' by making and overflow of the lifestream, which he would absorb and create it. And then again, The Weapons were the protectors of the planet, and they were protecting Sephiroth, so wouldn't that mean they they knew he was doing whats best for the Earth?

But that was only so that his Plan for good wasnt stopped by Holy, in which Aerith was praying for... He's a good guy im telling ya! xd xp
And what about Cloud and the other AVALANCHE crew? They killed a ton of people to get to sephiroth! isn't that bad too?

He's a good guy im telling ya! xd xp And what about Cloud and the other AVALANCHE crew? They killed a ton of people to get to sephiroth! isn't that bad too? she was praying for HOLY, that doesn't sound evil, and if you stop that, how is that good? and they killed people in self defense, not because they got in the way, well sort of... bleh, sephiroth is about as good as he is cuddly, after all didn't he want to sail on this dead planet through the cosmos, or was advent children just lying.... anyway, anyone who has wings coming out of their tush (as he does in Kingdom hearts) i debate on their levels of goodness...lol

So he was a little corrupt on the whole "Become a God and make the world a better place" Sceme, but if someone was going to stop you from acheiving your goal wouldn't you want to stop them? in sephi's case that would be killing Aerith.

The WEAPONS werent protecting Sepiroth, they were protecting the planet. They werent revived until Meteor had been summoned which would threaten the planets safety. And who summoned Meteor to damage the planet in order to become God? Sephiroth.
I dont know about you, but I dont view someone who is knowing he is going to kill many people in order to become a God as a good guy.

But If they were protecting the planet, wouldn't they go right for Sephiroth? See what i mean? They went for Shinra, instead of the guy that was going to make a Huge Meteor crash into the planet. Sephiroth did kill a lot of people, so what... If Someone tried to stop Cloud from killing Sephiroth, dont you think that he would kill that person? This goes back to the Aerith thing. Aerith was going to stop him, so he got her out of the way; by means of killing her.

Depends.
In the eyes and mind of Sephiroth himself, he would be a so called "good guy". JENOVA would say the same.
In the eyes and minds of Cloud and the gang of AVALANCHE, he is a "bad guy".
The planet would also see him as a bad guy, for trying to hurt it, and then take advantage of it's life force.
I, for one, would say Sephiroth's a mad man and should be stopped.
And ShinRa was sucking the life force out of the planet, for the use of Mako. So the WEAPONs went to stop ShinRa aswell as trying to take down Sephiroth. And ShinRa did to resistance and attack the WEAPONs, so they also did self-defense.
But well, to tell the truth, three of the WEAPONs didn't really do much to stop anything, really.
Ruby is lodged down into the sand, doing nothing, Emerald is swimming around in the sea and Ultima is just flying around.

Aerith was going to stop him, so he got her out of the way; by means of killing her. They went for Shinra because Hojo was shooting the Northern Crater, therefore causing damage to the planet. Sephiroth wasnt directly attacking the planet, so therefore wasnt deemed as the first threat to be taken care of. The meteor hurling towards the planet as well as the madman shooting highpowered mako at the planet as well were deemed as much more immediate ad accessible threat, since when the WEAPONs were released, the dropped Sephiroth into the center of the planet.

I THINK HES BAD HE WANTED HIM AND HIS MOTHER TO GO TO THE PROMISED LAND NOT ANY1 ELSE
