The matrix is the marker that I swear by. First time I shot one I was sold on it. The only thing I think people don't like about it is that Its a bit heavier than the crazy milled timmies and cockers out there, and it ain't beautiful. Aside from that, It has a very low sound profile, easy to maintain, shoots quick and accurate, and has very little kick.
I have an older grey matte gen-e LCD matrix (no eyes) with mini trinity LPR, CP inline, Evolve bolt kit, and a 68/45 armaggedon tank mounted on it. I'd love to get a tadeo board but without eyes it kind of defeats the purpose.
Any question about the matrix feel free to ask. I love em!

Huzzah..I'm joining the Trix family soon..It's a pretty sweet gun has like only 20 cases thru it. Oh yeha lets get down to the specs. It's a Dye 03 Matrix w/ eyes -AKA Sidewinder (best reg in my opinion) -AKA SCM (Soda Can Mod) -Full Evlove bolt kit -14" Ultralite -Check-it products on/off with the cage -Bat-Parts No rise feedneck
(Plan on getting Tadao board for it for Birthday)

The DM5 and Proto...I went to World Cup and go to test the Proto Trix and the DM5..I found both guns to be overrated..(But thats proably becuase the gun wasn't set to my needs) They are both some what lighter then the DM4..The New trigger on the DM5 is slick looking but for preformance wise I didn't find it to be too great..As for the rest of it the milling is HOTTT and the new membranes and the lower feedneck and it's cool that Dye is including a bottom ASA on the gun now...Now for the Proto..The Proto is cheaper for the average person not looking to empty their wallet..It's milling is very opinional from person to person. They got rid of the easy on/off thig but front so now you have to use allen key it appears..It's a little smaller then the DM4 but over all preformance both the DM5 and Proto are basically DM4's with some more bells and whisles..
But the DM4.DM5 and Proto are amazing guns..But I'm keeping my Trix for now..

Sweet trix man. That scm lpr is the best out there. I'm debating whether or not I should keep my freeflow lpr or try to sell it and get an scm. I might also try to replace my hyper inline 2 as well.

Yeah the SCM is awesome..I like it for one becuase it's smaller then the rest and it just plain rocks..But freeflow makes some real quality products as well..i don't like the fact how big it is but thats me..And your new Trix has no eyes right..You'll wanna get some of those..

Yea another thing with the scm is that you can set it and never have to worry about it ever again, instead of having to reset your lpr everytime you go play like all the others. My trauma has no eyes but the awesome thing with freeflow is that all their stuff has a lifetime warranty, and thats including upgrades. I can get it sent in and have them install the eyes for me for free, I just gotta pay for shipping but thats no biggie.
