welcome! Hi there, and welcome to my Studio! This is where I creat my various styles of artwork, from sketches, to high quality oekakis of various sizes, to photoshop paintings and comic/manga style pieces and more! I've taken up the task of cleaning, touching up and repairing many of the items we found here at "Through the Looking Glass". Many of the items are in terrible disrepair, so getting them to a suitable condition to re-sell will take quite a while, dispite all of Valoray's attempts to help. I will create illustrations of each Simulacra as they age, but like all art, they may take longer than expected to complete. .~* STUDIO DT NEWS*~. 02/11/05 ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ASK ME FOR ART.I mean it. I'd LOVE to be able to draw for everyone, but I CAN'T. I'm not very good at saying no, so please, please, please, DON'T ASK. I'm going to get seriously burnt out at this rate. Please, for my sanity, if you want art, try for kiribans. I'm offering LOTS of them, at my auction for people who advertise, and on numbered pages. I'll offer them at the shop when I can. That is the only art outside of the auction or the shop I can offer unless you'd like to pay with real money. 02/07/05 I'm Back! I've got a LOT of things to catch up on, like two simulacra companions, re-organizing the shop, running an auction, and working on setting up an ART CONTEST!
Valoray really wants to be able to play with the other children, and hopefully, grow up before to long...
So as you can probably imagine, I've got more than enough to keep me busy.

the rules! RULESDon't ignore these rules or I WILL ignore you! 1. ABSOLUTELY DON'T ORDER IF I'M CLOSED I will not take orders when I'm closed. My list is very short for a reason. I will completely ignore you if you do.
2. Don't PM orders! - I'll loose them!!!!!!
3. Don't harrass me! - I'm slow and my waiting list is long. I work full time, do real life paid commissions and am married. Gaia is not my life. If you really piss me off, I reserve the right to cancel your trade and drop your order and you'll lose your place on my list.
4. Take the time to READ before ordering! - Read the instuctions on how to order. I have instructions for a reason. If you don't provide the full information needed, I won't take your order and you'll lose your place on my list.
5. Start the Trade when I've confirmed your order - Or I won't start the work. I've never been ripped off, but I prefer the trade is started before I work. Also, if a trade is sitting in the bank, it will remind me that you ARE serious and I always start work on paid orders first. When I've finished the job, I will confirm the trade and send you your order. You don't have to finalize the trade until you are satisfied with the order.
6.I reserve the right to refuse orders, cancel orders, or increase my prices accordingly.
7. I also reserve creative rights to my pieces Do not edit, color or manipulate my work with out contacting me. I usually don't mind, but please be kind enough to tell me. Do not post my art without giving proper credit, on your website or personal gallery. Do not claim my art as your own. I reserve the right to post & and edit works I create for you. I will always credit your characters to you.
8. Visits, Conversation & RP are welcome! - I don't mind if you hang out at my shop. Infact, I'd appreciate it! I want Studio DreamingThought to be a friendly place, even if I'm not currently taking orders. I find it's so much easier to do good work for people I know. (keeping me company is also a good way to get gift arts ^_-)

Description of how you would like your avitar/character drawn:
Dress your avitar accordingly. Unless otherwise stated, I will use your avitar as it is at the time you make the request. If you are ordering a character, be very descriptive, or I will improvise, and I absolutely will not make corrections if you fail to be clear in your order. Examples and reference art is always a good idea.
Include any important descriptions, such as clothing style, hair style & color, eye color, skin tone, favorite colors, personality, and other details that I may not be able to pick up on in your current avitar's look. The more I know about your avitar/character, the better.

1. That's So Expensive!
I spend 1- 4 hours per small piece . Large Photoshop works take MUCH longer, usually 8 hours plus. That's a whole workday.
I think my time is worth a decent amount of gold. All my prices go up according to demand.
2. Can I have something bigger or add a character?
No. Most the prices say exactly what you can get for that price. If you still have questions, pm me.
3. When will you be open for commissions again?
Only for friends or people who want to spend real money...
or if you want to bribe me with some unattainable letter item. ^_^
4. Why are your rules so strict? You sound mean.
I've run shops before, and have found that PEOPLE JUST DON'T READ. So I made my rules strict and easy to find to make it clear to people I mean business. I'm serious about my art, I only want to take orders from people who are also serious.
5. Do you have _______ that you could give me?
No. Especially if I don't know you.
6. What is an Oekaki?
Oekaki roughly means 'doodle' in japanese.
Oekakis are small web drawings created with an online applet.
They are created at 72DPI(that's screen resolution) and are between 350pixels and 600pixels.
Oekakis are great for website graphics, avitars, and message board signatures.
7. Can we do an art trade?
No. I only do trades through the Private Exchange or with good friends. I don't have time for any other type of trade. Sorry.

How to Get A Gift.
1. Do not ASK or BEG for art. Self explanitory
2. Chat, roleplay and keep me company! Hanging out and making interesting conversation is a definate plus.
3. Dress well I love drawing those of you with some creativity to your outfits. ^^
4. Watch for when I offer mini-Kiribans. Sometimes I'll offer a drawing for the first person on random pages. I'll mention it a few pages before hand. NO BUMPING OR SPAMMING! This thread is stickied, so bumping is pointless, and spaming will get you black listed.
6. Have Fun I appreciate people hang out at my thread and have fun, and are interesting, and make my time at gaia more enjoyable. ^^
7. It is your repsonsibility to pick up your art. When I say random, I mean random, so check back on this page from time to time to see if I did an artwork of you. I won't go hunting you down to give you art. All gifts will be posted here.

build: About 5 feet tall. She's quite petite, and fairly curvy. She's gotten softer as she's gotten older, but it's stilly clear that she has a well toned body when she's active.
physical details:
She has a deep scar on her left shoulder, from an arrow wound. It went all the way through, so the scar is evident from both the front and back. It was poisoned, so the scar has a nasty jagged edge to it.
Other misc. details:
She is often seen wearing a white gold pendant on a long chain. It has well worn engraving of a tree-like symbol on it.
Clothing style:
Combat/hunting/scouting: brown leather with a vest/tunic covered in pouches. She is also know to wear a cloak made of light grey wolfskin in colder weather.
Casual: bellbottoms, chunky shoes, legwarmers, cute skirts, and asian style clothing. She prefers browns, greens, golds, blues and occassionally reds and blacks.
personality/story: Sweet and quite natured. She can be hard to get to know. She can be overly giving and is easily taken advantage of, though she will stand up for herself if pressed. She loves being in love, but has grown cautious about who she'll alow to get close to her.
History: Used to live in the World of Dragons Breath, and is something of a hero there, though she is haunted by the memories of her friends, adventures and past... so she's moved on to Gaia to find peace.
