i was wondering when everyone started their .hack gaming. i started mine when the game first came out here. ^_^ that was 3 almost 4 years ago! eek it's been that long already?!... or was it 4 almost 5... O.o

i know what you mean. it is hard to find the games new nowadays. i see them all used accept for the second one! DX i know at wal marts here they have like 20 new games ready to be sold of Outbreak, but they don't have anything else. DX

I admit, I was a tad impatient when the story ran a little slow but...

Sweet, why would you play in reverse order? o.o

I don't think the save files can be transfer backwards...

What would happen to the story if that was possible?!

I just happened to luck out to get all four in one store.

And is it just me, or do the games get shorter each sequel?

I went to my friend's b-day party in June, I had been asleep till just before the party, so when those wimps went to sleep by 4 AM, the last one standing threw a video game at me and said to entertain myself. That was volume one, it took me until September to get my own copy. EB games had a sale and I managed to get my greedy paws on Volumes 1 and 3, I'll borrow 2 until I can buy it, and then I'll worry about 4.

I've been playing Dot Hack for three years now. I got it for my 11th birthday. I watched the reviews, Sign, and most importantly a live demonstration at Walmart. I got the other three parts subsequently by the month.

As for general video games... All my life. We had an SNES whenever I was born, and at the age of three, I had already beaten Super Mario 1, 2, and 3. Shortly after whenever I was seven, we got the game boys and the N64 with a bunch of Pokemon games which I wooped once I got a hold on the element system. Then I got the gamecube. I started off with modern games like LoZ the Wind Waker and Harvest Moon, then I got the PS2, and a bunch of older games, like Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid, and most importantly Final Fantasy 10, all of which I beat in at least a month's time. But once I got Dot Hack, an entire world opened up. I finally had a challenge. Live action RPG combined with the look and feel of an MMO. It was like combining the best of it's era, which it was. Now I'm still addicted, biding my time until GU comes out on the 24th this month.
