What are some foods you refuse to eat?
I'm willing to try anything, but I made frog legs for hubby the other night, he said they were the best he had, but I wanted to throw up! It has the consistency of chicken, but tastes like swamp water to me!

I'm not fond of pigs brains or cow's tongue. Regulars that my dad used to make while we were growing up. After that was grease sandwiches, where he used the left over grease from cooking and spread it between two slices of bread to make a meat flavored sandwich.

Yuck, that's pretty gross... I don't like things like brain, tongue, liver, stomach etc, and I absolutely detest boiled meat. I can't stand flubbery fat at all. I like my food to have a strong texture. Oh, and I don't drink water. It makes me sick. No kidding. Even bottled water. I can't stand teh taste of it, to the point where I will add sugar or salt to water in a restaurant... sweatdrop I know it's weird.

I have a hard time with water also and hate having to force myself to drink it, so I usually stay away from it.

Kekey Mushrooms... I really can't stand them gonk Me either...although I really just think it's the thought of what they are that I don't like. Stupid, I know. I also won't eat bleu cheese, but it smells really awful anyways.

I refuse to eat? hmmm...eggs. I hate the taste of eggs. They make me want to throw up. I've tried a few times to like eggs...never worked. I only like it when the taste of everything else overpowers it. Same thing with shrimp. I don't like eating shrimp alone, but in a lo mein and I'm happy.

I think the only things I'm really picky about are some cheeses -- most blue-veined cheeses and anything sharp like Parmesan or Provolone. But I like Stilton, go figure.
And my grandmother's stuffing. Urk. Meat, eggs, and dried fruit. Ick.
Other than that, there are very few foods I don't eat. Mmm, mushrooms yummy. Eggs yummy. All fishies yummy, even anchovies. I'll also eat most organ meats, though beef liver is notsogood. Chicken livers are yummy, and tongue tastes like an oddly-textured bacon. Good!
I also don't like coffee plain, but as a flavoring, it's great. I love the smell of it brewing ... just can't drink the stuff. Pass the mocha cheesecake!
