Well.. The very first Transformer Toy I ever got was a G1 ScatterShot (( instruction booklet -> http://www.tfracetrack.com/instructions/g1/autobot/scattershot.jpg )) I got him at a Garage sale, so he was missing practically all of his guns and really just at that bug gun barrel as his own weapon.. but I got it for buck when I was 4.. ^_^ with my own money to add. Now, I am trying to get my hands on a Soundwave Toy... because.. well.. Soundwave is just that awesome biggrin Anyway, what was your first Transformer toy? How old were you when you you got it? Do you still have it? What other Transformer Toy would like like?

The first Transformers toys I got were G2 Bumblebee and Seaspray. I had never heard of Transformers before and a friend got them for me for my birthday. I would have been I believe 8 years old at the time. I still have them, although they are a bit worse for wear.
TFs I want are Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, and Mirage from G1.

Hi Damean,
My first Transformer was a G1 Bumblebee. I can't remember when I got him, but it was around the time of the first airings of the G1 series. I was somewhere in my teens. I still have him in a large box (i.e. a toilet paper box I think) along with all my other G1 Transformers. All of them have their original box or are re-stapled onto their cards xp !

The first TF I got was a G1 Soundwave . . . and he is still to date one of my favourite molds. Unfortunately, shortly after I got him he was stolen. crying I was but a wee thing of six, perhaps five years old.

I have Optimus Prime from the Cybertron series. I also have Cybertron Defense Hotshot, Skywarp and some Mini-Cons.

my first Transformer was G1 Runamuck when I was a kid of maybe 8...I do still have his remains but I was very rough on him...I have however replaced the bot and since then obtained Runabout too.I have so many G1 figures I still want that I`ll just narrow it to a time period really...1984-1988. mrgreen

MY first transformer was AstroTrain. I loved that thing. Unfortunately.... the staircase didn't. I was running down an upstairs hallway when I tripped on a rug and poor Astro went flying down the staircase.... broke him clean in half, where the support for his legs joins into the body.
Man, I cried. I was only 4, and my father had given me that because I had been a good boy all week, lol.
I also got a Rodimus Prime in the same fashion, though I never played with my transformers around that staircase again.
I would have had the Rodimus Prime, but I traded it for a Blaster (good condition, better than poor Rodimus anyway) when I was 17.
Naturally, AstroTrain was not salvagable. I got another one though, for nostalgia purposes.
Now I want the new one too, dammit!

My first Transformers toy was a Generation 1 Soundwave, then eventually I bought all his tapes, from Rumble, to Laserbeak, etc.
I think he only came with one or two tapes, and the rest I had to buy.
Then my second toy was Grimlock.
I love the old Transformer toys, back when they were made with REAL metal.
