I speak Shanghainese. smile
My Shanghainese is better than my French which is better than Cantonese, followed by my Manderin.
But I'd much rather stick to English... so sue me... I'm a proud CBC twinkie (aka. banana)... yellow on the outside, white on the inside.

My friend knows, she speaks shanghainese at home and to her dog, sometimes she doesn't realise it, but she speaks shanghainese to me, and sometimes I understand her! Amazing! surprised

^a borrowed language from England that came from shakespearean time which before consisted of words frome french and germainic countries that has a latin root.
