Private roleplay between Rein Carnation and myself, please dont post unless you have permission.
Chepi yawned softly as she came out of the teepee. The morning dew glittered on the ground and she smiled to herself. The dawn of a new day, little did she know that this would be a day that would change everything. She ran a comb through her thick ebony tresses and began to walk down the deer trail to the river. She wished to wash up and the cold water would help wake her more than she was now. Her mind was still asleep it seemed, so asleep that at first she didnt see the pale faced woman standing across the stream.
Mae'ven blinked a bit and watched in quiet awe as the indian woman walked down the stream towards her. She hushed torn and dropped his reigns to insure the most silence possable. Her Hair was not that differnt than the indian maids, the purest black. Quiet odd for her irish heritage, she was what many considered Black irish. She smiled as the woman went about her daily duties.
Chepi splashed some water on her face and looked up refreshed, she sighed and wiped the water from her face and froze. Noticing now for the first time the strange woman and her dark horse. Her mind raced, she didnt know what to do...she didnt feel safe one on one with this woman, where was Tirranna! She bit her bottom lip and continued to stare across the bank.

The young indian maiden walked out toward the river nearby washing various vegtables and herbs as her flute lie strapped to her hip. Pretty black raven colored hair shined in equal braids as they hung loosley over her shoulders. Humming to herself she dreamed lightly of the Soquili that lived but a footfall from the teepee her and Chepi shared.
Raising up from the posistion she placed herself in Tirranna waved to Chepi heading toward the Riverside. A fine meal they'd have with some occasional apples left over to place near the beautiful Soquili's dwellings. "Morning Chepi. Almost completed." she said shaking the last few traces off of the potatoes.
Noticing Chepi's expression she turned her head gasping at the maiden whose skin was white as snow with odd clothing. She blinked feeling uncertain remembering tales of Kalona playing tricks on others.

Chepi tore her eyes away from the strange woman with pale skin as the moon and hair as dark as night to look at her friend. "Tirranna... its one of those pale faces..." she said, her voice a raspy whisper. "what do we do?" she asked, a strained expression crossing her face. Chepi was at a loss, what was to be done..
Maven watched quiet and in awe as a second indian woman approched the first. Had she wandered across a tribe? These people where strange, their skin was so dark, yet not so dark as some she had seen. It bore a red tinge to it, and their hair was like that of a raven. Quietly, without malice she reached for her sadle back, praying that she wouldnt startle the women. She reached for a book and her pencils. She sat down across the bank from them and quickly began to sketch them. This encounter must be documented!
Torn blinked as a second strange one appeared, yet his ears flicked and his nostrils flared. There where other horses around, many by the smell of things. His white hooves pawed at the ground lightly as he looked around. Hopefully these would be nicer than that dark stallion. How rude he had been.

Tirrana's eyes darkened burning embers of aubrun felt a loss for what to say to her friend Tirranna. This was the first time she had ever laid eyes on what the kawani peple called a "pale face". She reached up letting her soft red skined hands run through her blackened hair. "I've heard of these people yet to tell you the truth on first impression don't know how to respond." she frowned looking downward realizing the vegtables had spilled over the ground that she had throughly washed. "Oh no." she murmered reaching downward to pick up the ones nearest her feet.
As if the world had turned to ice Celendria the winter mare appeared in the deerpath. She followed Chepi as she always did though today seemed a bit different to her. Flicking her ears toward the two maidens she noticed an almost unsettling gaze they both had causing the mare to swivel her head to where the projection was that sought fear in their stance.
The mare gazed in a serene yet quizical gaze trying to understand what it was she was seeing. A human lighter skinned stood dressed in strange things compared to the maidens she trailed along after. The smell was quite different in the air as well which set her stare upon a stallion. Black as Ebony carrying something on his back. He seemed at a loss as much as the maidens the mare noted. Smiling she stood there calm as a stone and whinnied to get the stallion's attention. Full well knowing that she herself was just made known was there now.

Chepi whimpered softly and bent to help Tirrianna with the vegitables. "Oh my oh my.. I really dont know what to do. should we ignore her and go back to the teepee quickly... or should we go over there?" She bit her bottom lip as she picked up a carrot that had split down the center, cleanly breaking in two. "Oh my...." She sighed.
That framilure winters chill washed over her and she looked over with a smile at Celendria. "Hello you... Have you seen?" she asked athe mare, and chanced a glace at the strange ones across the bank. She leaned over and gently washed the broken carrot free of the dirt it had gathered. With a smile she held the carrot out to celendria.
Maeven looked up and droped her jaw. There was a horse, whos fine fur was icy blue.. with hair that was as white as the snow. Quickly she began to sketch as the mare stood there magjesticly behind the indian maidens. This above all else must be documented, although people where sure to call her crazy over this find.
Finally Maeven stood and brushed herself off. She placed her book back in one of the Torn's heavy laiden saddle bags and waved to the maids Across the stream. "'Allo! I mean ye Know 'arm! " she brought her hands in ward and pressed them against herself, hoping they would understand. "I'm Maeven O'Connor!"
Torn watched with only mild intrest as it slowly became clear that nothing was really going on. Maeven was sketching as usual and the women across the river where acting like rabbits, if we dont see you, you dont see us. He wondered if they tried to get close if they would scatter like rabbits too. He looked up as he pondered this, and all his thoughts flew out of his mind. For there, behind the stranged Maidens, stood one of the most beautiful sights he had ever laid eyes on. His warm brown eyes met with her icy stare, and he felt himself shiver as if a winters chill had run down his spine.
He knew it was quite rude of him to stare, but he found he couldnt tear his eyes away. Her hair danced around her like an Ethereal veil as the wind toyed with it. Her strange coat was icy blue and looked almost as if it had a light sheen of ice, for crystals of light sparkled as she moved. He dared not breath for he thought that this wonderful vision would dissapear.

Tirrana's eyes lingered for what seemed an eternity upon the mare as blue as winter ice. A coat so shicking compared to other soquili she'd seen. Oh course this wild mare had been spotted with a herd of different breeds once or twice but to see her this close the maiden's heart fluttered as if laying gaze upon a mythical unicorn.
"Ah Chepi how do you know this mare? She's so beautiful." she gasped retrieving the remaining vegtables. "Hmm best not to lead her to the teepee though I must start dinner in time to cook. Ideas on what to do?" she stood brushing the dirt from her pants that had gotten stained as she let the vegtables lie on her lap. Her interest turned back to the paleface that was speaking in strange tongue yet looked as if she was being quite friendly in turn.
The ice mare reached out to retrieve the carrot from Chepi. Her coat oddly enough had a coolness to it as she stood close to her maiden she called friend. The other staring in awe caused the mare to gaze into those dark pools as if curiously reading her thoughts.
Her full attention though swiveled back toward the two newcomers of a different land. The mare's first response was a welcome to the stallion which she hoped was well recieved. Other than Kimimela most Soquili language was realatively the same in Celendria's thoughts.
She continued watching the ebony stallion evaluating his surprise to her color and beauty. She was quite used to this by now of course but couldn't help but chuckle at his astonishment in seeing her. A strange clamor of a giggle sounded close which Celendria blinked away from Torn to catch watch of the incoming noise maker.
Upon the air soaring like a crazed eagle pranced a purple equine smaller then the rest but with a ferocity in flight like none other. Zipping and zagging she waltzed upon the air like an angel. A scattering of leaves danced about her as she swereved past them. Up and down then in a loop she played with the debri upon the air. Stretching out her legs she decended towards the river still playing with the falling leaves. She bobbed her head back and forth till she neared the water exhaling a long "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" as she skidded over the surface barely touching upon the water. Her hair a silkened violet lie draping in curls about her neck as her tail danced behind her. Shimmering transparent wings beating so fast she could have been noted as a hummingbird.

Chepi smiled and gave Celendria a soft pat on the muzzle. "yes, This is Celendria. The first Soquili I ever met. Can you feel that cold coming from her? She's like a spirit... I think she might be the incarnation of one... " She looked at Celendria with love and smiled at her. It had been along time since she had seen her beloved friend. She glanced over her shoulders and shook her head. "I dont know...maybe we should invite her? I mean.. she doesnt look... mean or evil." she bit her bottom lip, not very sure of what would happen. The woman seemed friendly, if a bit odd standing there shouting strangly at them and flailing her arms about.
Maeven sighed a bit, she had startled them and now they where talking in hushed tones. A Ray of hope shot through that they might yet accsept her. Oh to make a bond with the natives of this place. The things she could find out and document. Afterall they surely knew this place like the back of their hand, It would be easier to learn with their help.
The Ice mare looked up, and so did Maeven, following her gaze she caught her breath. "'oly mother!" she shouted in awe. For there in the sky, with a whinny of glee....was a purple flying horse.... a flying horse! She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasnt seeing things and then with a whimper she ran for the saddle bags! A quick sprint and a fumbbling moment later she whipped out her pencil and began to framictly draw and write her comentary. "no ones going ta Believe me!" she said shaking her head with a giggle of excitment.
Torn's ears flicked softly as the mare looked up so did he, rather following the movements of his owner. What he saw made his jaw drop. He reared back in excitement, front white hooves pawing at the sky as the purple mare zoomed by. What sort of place was this where mares fly and where all the colors of the rainbow. Surely these where creatures of myth and magic. What place had his misstress taken him.
His warm brown eyes stared at the newest arrival for he found he couldn't tear his eyes way from her shimmering essance. "I've gone and fallen asleep..." he said at last, mummbling to himself. "For surely such an angel on wings as frail as a butterfly couldnt be standing before me..." he closed his eyes for a moment and finally opened them again. She was still there as well as the icey mare. "Saints be praised...i've gone to heaven. "

The mare shook her head letting the silken snow trail down her shoulders like a falling snowfall. Her eyes focused on the flutter who apparently didn't care to offend the quietness that was in motion. Now Shaylee had grabbed them by the reins pulling the spectators along as if tied to a binding rope. She sighed bringing her gaze toward the maiden's switching over toward the dark ebony stallion transfixed by a rainbow of color he had never laid gaze upon in his lifetime.
Tirranna nearly dropped the vegtables again seeing one so close fly like a humminbird upon the wind so freely. She wanted to reach out and touch the mare but the new arrival was simply just too much to be real. She shook her head watching the little flutter and laughed a hearty yet silly giggle. "Well now... Hmm that is just... uh... unbelieveable. Where did she come from?" she asked with wide brown eyes transfixed upon the sleek little mare.
She turned to look at Chepi nodding to her acceptance of the paleface. There was plenty to feast upon and it had been ages since they had company in these parts. Good luck grew upward bringing the visions of the fabled "wind horse" from her childhood tales. Smiling she gathered another carrot and offered it to the ice mare. "Chepi lets invite her for dinner. Might not be so bad for she looks rather lonely yes?" she watched the mare waiting for trust as that was something the natives and the spirit horses needed to form to understand one another.
Shaylee looked over noticing eyes that bore into her like a borer bumblebee into thick wood. She splashed in the water without thinking then appeared with a shake of her head continued with a giggle. Completely drenched now she pondered which shoreline to go to. One harbored a strange two legger with a blacdk stallion in a funny getup, the other consisted of the maidens and ooh what's this? "Celendriaaaaaaaaaaa!" she whinnied zipping back toward the opoosite shoreline and decending down toward her most welcomed friend. "Busy around here don't cha think?" she whistled watching everyone winking back to Torn as she knew he was still watching her.

Chepi nodded and smiled and seemed to pay little attention to Shaylee, to her the icy mare was the most wonderious creature she knew. . "Alright, well.. how do we invite her then?" she glanced at the woman again and sighed, she was at a loss. Standing, her gave the icy mare and affectionate pat. "Why dont you meet us at the Teepee Tirranna and get supper started. I'll meet with you in a bit, along with our new friend hopefully." she smiled and began to cross the shallows of the river towards the stranger and her dark stallion.
Maeven stribble furiously in her sketch book as the purple mare landed before her in the stream and began to bathe. She was a creature of wonder, of myth standing here before her in her shimmering glory. She bit her bottom lip for a moment and watched in awe as the mare shook her wet mane, translucent water droplets falling around her like stars falling from the sky. "Oh what wonder is this?" She said under her breath, sighing softly.
She looked up and saw the native woman approching her. She walked with little interest past the purple beast, this intriged Maeven to no end. She smiled and waved her arms in a comical manner to attempt to comunicated with her. "I am Maeven, I mean you no harm. Come in peace... Friend!"
Chepi watched the woman closely, her language was strange, but she understood by the flailing of her arms that this ones name was Maeven and she was good. She would do them no harm or she would have done so earlyer. "May-vin." Chepi said and pointed towards the girl. She pointed back at herself. "Che-pie." she spoke slowly breaking her name into syllables. She also jestured over her shoulder to Tirrianna. "Tirr-Ianna." She said with a nod.
Torn paid absolutely no attention to the humans, his warm brown eyes where transfixed on the beautiful being that had droped from the sky. She was a Faerie, one of the little ones. And here she was, like an angle before him, bathing in the clear spring water. He slowly took a step forward, almost fearing that if he moved she would vannish into a puff of smoke. His hooves touched the waters edge sending ripples out from his touch.
"Lass.." he said softly, his warm tennor voice calling out to her. "Pray what is your name. Surely you are a spector, some vision before me, for never in my life have I seen anything as Beautiful as you."

The maiden holding the produce in her wrappings made of her makeshift garment nodded to Chepi's suggestion. Water leaked through the cloth in streaming droplets as the sun shined back off of them leaning to meet upon the dry ground beneath her moccasins.
"Alright. Maybe this icy guardian can come with me back to the teepee." she said with a smile towards the icy sheen of the gorgeous mare watching everything around her.
"Care to come with me?" she queried tilting her head as she prepared her journey back through the deer path leading towards home.
Celendria listened to the other maiden's voice with curiousity. Though not fully understanding her she grasped a basic concept of the situation. Accepting the carrot the ice mare nodded looking toward the deerpath then to Shaylee. Was it safe letting the handsome stranger fall into the childlike realm of a flutter hyperactive and unpredictable.
She contemplated staying but rathered Shaylee atleast get some time to mature her actions and situations as they were called for. Reaching out her muzzle the mare slowly nudged Tirranna with a whicker then began walking off toward the deerpath.
Shaylee on the otherhand stood watching the stallion thinking what Safi had said awhile ago. She shook her head back and forth letting the water spray outward catching a rainbow in the droplets before they mingled with the water. She smiled with a childish grace fluttering her wings rapidly to dry them.
Her purple orbs noticed his approach which ignited a fierce excitement in her little breast. He was curious to who she was which brought a twill of gigginss from her mouth.
"Helloooooooo there. I'm Shaylee the sugarplum fairy. Nice to meet cha." she giggled bowing her head, "You talk kinda funny. Where are you from? Ooh and what's that you're wearing?" she blinked watching him eager to get closer. Maybe it was he that was the spirit. So dark and so bold as he stood there at the water's edge.

With a wide grin Chepi grasped Maeven's hand and lead her to follow Tirrianna and the icy mare before them. She walked carefully through the shallows of the river before finding the deer path on the opposet side of the shore. Chepi paused and pointed down the trail, indicating they where going to follow the others. She then continued on ward, leading Maeven all the while.
Maeven smiled excitedly and followed Chepi quite willingly. All the while she kept looking around her taking in the sights and leaving poor Torn by his lonesome with the lovely purple creature.
Torn watched her shake her mane, the moments passing in frames. Everything slowed down and his heat thudded in his ears, as if it was all her could here. Then her laugher broke through her thoughts and time once more ran forward. He smiled, a charming smile and shook his dark mane from his eyes. "I am from and Island far from here Lassy, Over the ocean. It took me many months upon a ship to reach your shores.. and Im glad I have came, for it seems that I have unwittingly stepped into heaven. The day was bright with a sky as blue as turquoise as Tirranna and the ice mare walked along. The maiden walked with a touch of grace in her limber form slender and well built. Well rounded shoulders exposed to the sun as it warmed her in her walk. A full set rounded face christened with pools of darkened brown well set as her eyes leading upward to dark hair though not as deep as raven as Chepi. Looking down at her side she wished to play her flute though her hands curled gently about the fabric that carried the produce. Staring at the mare gave an air of rememberece to the long winter's day past.
Tirranna remembered.
~Sitting there playing her flute the eyes of the ice spirit lied upon her from the hillside. Sleek with a coat that shined deep blue as white cascaded over her like fresh falling snow. Indeed that very first soquili in curiousity was she that walked beside Tirranna now~
"I don't know if you remember me, but I remember you ice mare. So beautiful you were that day I played my flute. How I wish and long to do it once more for you." she sighed looking at her flute once more than towards the makeshift saturated bag she carried.
As blue as ice the mare curiously watched Tirranna thinking how much she was like Chepi. Though neither could hear the mare's name there was no sorrow in it. Why even Hania referred to her as "The Ice Mare". So all was rell in respect and happiness. She wondered though of this pale face hearing murmers from fellow Soquili they had arrived. What could it mean she wondered with a flick of her long tender ears.
Her attention was brought back by hearing streange sounds of the maiden looking from ther side to the thing she held. Almost as her perplexed emotions were showing through. The mare noted the thing being refered to was something she noticed before. Strange sounds came from it but not the kind to drive one away. More like facination ones to intrigue and make happiness bloom. She leaned over nudging the bag with her muzzle trying to get a grip on where it was firmly tied. Grasping it in her mouth she whickered for Tirranna to play her flute.
If the maiden wanted to make such interesting sounds now she could with no problem.
Shaylee raised a brow and flicked her tail rising to the air to decend in a rush of air near him. "Ah ha.. you're umm.. lets see... an outlander type huh? So what's this thinger thing on your back?" she inspected with an air of pure curiousity. Something made of a wierd thing past what the natives jused in these parts. Standing right close to the taller stallion Shaylee was quite small and dainty in a comparison of ebony against amethyst.
She pranced about inspecting the strange things and giggled in doing so. The flutter known as Shaylee was intrigued that someone so handsome was infatuated to even glance upon her. She looked up at him tilting her head, "Okay so you're from far away right? Then how can you be in heaven when its like way up there? I mean we're firmly upon the ground, See?" she stated with a wink. She looked up at the sky then back again, "Ah huh... did I get your name by the way?"

Chepi smiled as she followed after the icy mare and her friend. She pulled gently at Maevens hand as they walked along the path. Dappled rays of sunlight danced over them as their journey continued. It wasnt long before they reached the teepee, the place that Chepi had called home for so long.
Maeven looked in wonder at the teepee, it was so strange to her. She dropped Chepi's hand and slowly circled the area, taking in the strange building from all angles. She shook her head in awe, her raven hair much the same color as her native aquantce fell across her shoulders. "oh My..." she said and drew out her sketch book once more. She began to sketch out the design of the building, the shapes on the skins... the smoke coming out in think whisps from the top. This was so strange to her, it was almost magical. Was this really a Dream?
As the strange woman began to sketch Chepi chanced a glance at her book. The strange hide looked brittle...perhaps it wasnt hide at all.. it had a sound to it like she'd never heard before. She watched as the woman drew pictures and she lightly tilted her head. After a moment she thought it rude to stare so she smiled at the strange woman and headed off to help Tirrianna with the food. She Waved to the woman and welcomed her inside the teepee.
Maeven stared in utter wonder, the outside had been like a dream...inside was like a relgious experiance. Primitive at best, it suited its purpose surprisingly well. The furrs lined the sleeping area, and a small arrainment of personal items. She couldnt help but smile as she documented every peice of information.
Torn watched her wide eyed as the etherial beauty suddenly rushed to his side. He heald his breath for amoment for fear in exhaling she might bolt away as quickly as she'd come to his side. His lungs burned as he listened to her questions. She was so full of youth and mirth.
The dark stallion smiled, finally chancing to breath as she checked out his gear. "why yes Lass I am but a humble traveler from a far off place. " He glanced to the saddle on his back, the leather lightly creeking as he moved. "That M'lady would be a Saddle. It holds my Bonny Lass on my back so she wont fall off as easily." He said with a chuckle.
His warm brown eyes couldnt help but dance over her plum coat and fine wings. She was daintly small and fairy like, surely she had to be one of them, the little people would need mounts as well as the big ones wouldnt they? Those thoughts escaped him as her mirth bubbled to the surface and her inquisitive nature bleed forth. He smiled and shook a few raven locks from his eyes. "I'm in heaven Because Im in your pressance Lassy, For surely You would reside no where else. I am humbled by your pressance Miss. " He said and lightly bowed his head to her. "I am Called Torn, and what pray tell could my angel's name be?" he asked looking back up at her again.

The maiden gently smiled at the icy companion whose mane lightly touched upon her smooth limber arms. Such a rush of coolness filled her whole being. Reaching down she grabbed her flute and raised it to her lips beginning to play a cool sounding tune reminicent of the wintery days when she first met the mare.
Celendria's ears perked towards the music noting the certain tones reminding her of the love she held for the mountains she'd grown from. How the icy peaks rose into the clouds disappearing in an envelope of wonderment as the snow waltzed downward in a waltzing shower. The sounds she noticed were very soft and soothing. This she respected whickering with the bag in her teeth clenched quite nicely and secure.
As they reached the teepee Tirranna noted the paleface girl had followed them which was fine having enough for the feast she's prepare. Only thing was Chepi may have to hunt for a rabbit to add meat to the dishes. She finished her tune placing the flute back in her minkfox belt she had made securing it so it wouldn't fall. Reaching outward with a smile Tirranna took the bag from the mare and patted her on the neck.
"Thank you." she noted making way to where she'd prepare dinner.
Celendria whickered her own thank you for hearing that beautiful sound that intrigued her before. She looked around swiveling her ears catching the faint rustle of something dashing for the bushes nearest to the clearing she lived within.
"What was that?" she questioned remembering a bluish blur as it darted out of sight.
Meanwhile Shaylee was just one big question staring at his ebony coat that litterally shinied from how he was brushed. Thick rippling muscles covering his whole form from beneath his coat. She was litterally entranced that quite possibly this newcomer had stolen her heart when she wasn't looking.
But wait.
Azure did that with his charm, his sweet words, and look what happened with her dropping her guard and following him. This one wouldn't do that too would he? She frowned thinking how all stallions could litterally be so uncaring and selfish for their own reasons. Hell she had not even seen her babies after the baskets disappeared. It was a if her world had ceased to exist. She so much wanted to find love again that it tore her up inside, but who would see such torment concealed in a perky flutter with shining eyes of laughter?
She shook off the inhibitions and continued to keep his attention with her naive quality and adorable overtones.
"Okay so someone rides you? Seriously? I've never let a person creature get near to me. Guess I'm a real Wild one huh?" she trilled about looking at her wings "mine don't come off like you say yours does. I tried but ding no answer why to the point of ouch you numbnut why did you do that?!".
So hey the people folk got apples at their funny place they live in. Hungry from your trip? Not as good as Sugarplums but apples aren't to bad." she flitted about and pranced in place.

Chepi smiled as she led the strange pale woman around their teepee and finally inside. The notes of the flute sent a shiver down her spine as she knelt down to tend the fire for their dinner. Chepi's warm brown eyes looked up at the pale woman as she hurriedly scratched on that strange paper.
Maeven couldnt stop smiling! She had found her way into a fountain of knowlage and she didnt want to spill a drop. Her penmanship was running together as she hastily wrote, but right now she didnt think she could afford to take a few extra seconds to slow down her hand!
Torn chuckled softly, this youthful mare was indeed as free spirited as she was beautiful and mystical. He smiled softly and bravely took a step towards her, in the guise of looking over her wings with interest. "Well see Lass, your wings are a part of you. I wasnt born with this saddle on my back. My two legger made it and fasioned it on me. When she likes she removes it and thats that. " he lightly shruged his shoulders not really knowing how else to explain it.
As she flitted about him, so hyper in her explinations he couldnt help but chuckled. "Aye, We have a few apples with us now I think....what is a sugar plum?" he asked her, the words sounding strange from his mouth.
