Dr. Smith waited impatiently by a statue, checking his upside down watch from time to time. A group of the scroll children were supposed to come by and take a tour of their...school. Nara had asked him to escort them around while she spent the day praying or some such non-sense.
With a harumph the old geezer straightened his oversized glasses. "Late," he mumbled. "Always late."

Reign came running in, out of breath and stumbling as she almost tripped over her feet and fell. "Sorry, Mister." She had to pause then and catch her breath. "Mommy drive slows..."

Papina strained in Alarai's grip, attempting to run as Alarai walked Papina to where they were suppose to go. Papina almost wailed. They were going to be late! By this point, they most likely were late! Alarai paused as she spotted two figures and eyed them both. Well, they were by the statue, that meant this was were Papina was suppose to go, right? Papina again attempted to go forward, only to be halted as both arms strained to their limits. Alarai sighed, yanked Papina to her as she knelt and enfolded Papina in a hug. "Now don't get into trouble, and try to make some friends, 'kay?" Papina rolled her eyes, but very nicely said, "'Kay. May I got now?" Alarai grinned then released Papina, who sped towards the group like an arrow that was just released. She slowed as she neared the two, stopping once she was beside Reign. "Sorry. Mommy insteaded we walk, and walk slowly so I don't hurt myself." She sighed, and balanced on one foot as she lifted the other to examine it. It hadn't gotten hurt from all those sidewalks like Mommy feared, did it? Plus the slow walk did have the extra bonus of allowing her more time to soak up sunlight, although she wasn't about to admit that to anyone... Mommy included, she told herself.

Paen growled as he had to lug his now car hating, not just car seats, into the very thing. He had been lucky enough to have Lily's older son, Coren, watch the twins and Malachi on last minute notice. He hadn't been expecting to get a letter from Nara, or at least someone who knew her, to drag Isdra down to a 'School' to teach her. About what, he had no clue.
At this pointed, he didn't really care that they were late when he got such late notice. A slightly tire sqeauling hault sounded just before the 10-11 year old looking child flew out of the car. How she despised it. Walking up to the car's front window, she waited until her father had rolled it down to curse the car.
"Now, you be good and try not to harm anyone. I know how good you are at that. Make some friends, k?" Isdra just nodded and waved, walking away as she did. She was wondering what this was going to be like.

"Reign, Isdra, Papina... How ..nice.. to see you three again." Dr. Smith said warily. The girls still made him nervous. "We'll wait a little while longer for some more children to arrive and then we'll start our tour."

The chimp girl looked up at the man. "Others? Who else is coming?" The girl thought for a moment. "Nara?? Is Nara coming?"

Papina finally placed her foot down, satisfied that she hadn't hurt it on the way here. She then sighed to herself as she heard Dr. Smith's tone. He wasn't still grumpy about what happened in class, was he? She lazily spun around in circles as she waited for "others" to come, soaking up sunlight as she did so.

Isdra came in and leaned against a tableand looked over at Dr. Smith, itching her back as she did so. Itching the bottom of her back with her arm, with was aranged so that most people could scratch the top half of their backs'. Not the bottom. "Who else is coming? More girls? Are all of us scroll kids girls?"

"Ah...One more.. Codi I think..." The man mumbled looking down at his paper. Where was Nara? She was a scroll and could relate much better. "And no, he's a boy.." Dr. Smith pushed his thick glasses back up onto his face.
"Girls, Don't. Touch. We'll be going through some places with preety interesting artifacts that might crumble when they're touched. Keep your tails and oils and," Dr. Smith winced, "joints to yourself."

Reign frowned as the name was unfamiliar to her. No Nara. And some yucky boy. Oh well. Her tail swished as the man spoke of it, as she peered over her shoulder at it. "No touching," she informed the body part, pointing a finger at her tail.

Papina winced as she was told to keep her oils to herself. It wasn't as if she could decide when she produced the oil on her skin or for how long. So now she couldn't touch anything for fear of not keeping her oils to herself. Great... Bleh.
She wondered what Codi's ability was. Hopefully not something like was Isdra had. Seeing Isdra use her ability was... disconcerting... to watch, and must be painful too, considering how much pain she put herself through trying to copy Isdra when she thought no one was looking.

Fuego rushed into view, carrying his new child - Codi. Cody was clutching his favorite red washcloth, and sucking on it loudly, blinking out at the world with wide golden eyes. Fuego's own crimson peepers went soft when he looked at the child, and hefted him up a little further into his arms.
"Fuego and Codi - reporting for tour duty."
He said quietly, with a bit of a smile. He looked like fatherhood was going to suit him just fine.
"We're not late, are we?"

Isdra rose an eyebrow at the young boy, blinking slightly. He had the same hair color as her, both normal black unlike the others. "He's just a kid," she said, still looking at him strangely. 'Wonder what he's like...?' the young girl pondered to herself, scratching her back again.
Now wait, she couldn't touch anything?! That's no fun! "But Mistor Dude, I like my joints! Why aren't we allowed to touch anything?!"

"It's Dr. Smith!" The man shouted at Isdra before struggling to regain himself. "Not Mistor Dude. And we can't touch because some of them might break. Now, you two aren't too late and we can get started right away."
Dr. Smith took on his lecturing voice. "Ahem, well.. Yes. Moving along. Everyone pay close attention to this statue. It is known as the Unknown God, an Eygyptine and Greek god meant to fill in for all the unknown dieties in their worship. Everyone must swear never to reveal this secret or well... We could all end up dead." The balding man stated plainly. Enemies were out there...
He reached out and pressed a spot on the statue. Silently it slid backwards and then slipped to one side. Drawing out a flashlight Dr. Smith glanced at the small group. "Careful!" he cautioned them before stepping into the stone hallway.

Reign was about to say something when the man pressed something on the statue and it revealed a hidden passage. "Awesome!!" She shouted, clapping her hands together happily and jumping up and down. This was so cool!
