Other than guns I have no real training give me a nice knife or machete and I will do fine. I like spears things like Naginatas are great I will take a nice 5 foot pole with a curved blade on it I do fine with something like that.

As far as things I have actual training and experience in, I'd have an SKS or an M4, (although I'm not quite as familiar with the M4 as I am the SKS... but I am competent with both.)
Then I'd have a nice pump shotgun, like a Benelli or Remmington. Of course almost every gun-owner in the world owns a Mossburg 500. Not the best shotgun, but like the SKS I am familiar with it.
As far as melee weapons go, I's use a nice smallsword or rapier. Years of fencing makes me confident with that, as well as most knives I come across.

tonfa, i think the best weapon on the body is elbow/forearm. gives nice defence and attack.
other than that, any staff/stick/pole whatever size bigger than arm length.

I can use any type of gun, for my father is a Cop and often takes me out shooting, though I prefer Katana. The only other weapons I have basic understand of are Bo, Nunchaku(nunchucks), Bow, and throwing knives.

I'm ok with just about any weapon. I prefer to fight up close, so obviously my weapon preference will revolve around that, though I know that I can handle a gun rather well. I prefer my Bo-Ken. It is light, versatile, has good reach, and can be slipped past metal detectors with a long enough coat or cloak.
Second Choice: Rapier or Saber Third Preference: Kodatchi or Katana + a Bo Staff (Dual wielding is fun)
Ranged Weapons: I've used shotguns, crossbows, regular bows, older rifles, and some paintball and beebee guns. Of them my aim is the best with a crossbow or a normal bow. Next it would be a BeeBee gun [rifle].
Andrew, you've seen me dual wielding your staff and wooden scimitar, and I believe that Merlin has seen me practicing with my Bo-ken. Not to mention those lightsaber duels at school and the convention. Anything that I pick up I can use as a weapon should the need arise, that is really all that needs to be known.

Personally I just prefer an escrima stick. It's just a stick made of wax wood, nice and smooth about 3 feet long. I've done some escrima and arnis seminars and such, although I would be alot more confident hand to hand. I know some stick to stick disarms as well so that helps. Really, simple is better. How often you gonna be carrying around a sword when you just pick up anything like a pipe or pole or stick off the ground. But thats just my take on it. But if I had to pick something else as well, Rattan staff would be good too. Again, just something simple and easy.

1.Nunchaku 2.Bo 3.Kamas And I like this little thing I'm getting. It's a wristband with a big metal thing on the back, I should be able to do more backfist damage with it. I don't think it should be used ni sparring, though XP might hurt someone.
