Anywho. I am obsessed with KH clothing styles. I've developed a frivilous accessory fetish and love zippers, clasps, belts, and fiddly bits of cloth that have no purpose. ^-^
It's interesting, I think, to see how the clothes have evolved through the games. KH2 clothes are much cooler in my opinion than KH1 clothes, if for nothing else than the polycount upgrade (that's a techincal term, it means it looks better graphically). Kairi's outfits were pretty good in both games (though what's with that random black hood in her KH2 outfit?). Sora though, man, 1000% improvement with KH2. In the first game he's wearing essentially a
red bodysuit, with a zipper down to his crotch. O.o W.T.F. And he now sports
a confusing mass of layers and belts and things in a color combination that manages to not make him look completely rediculous. And his pants are finally a decent length.
biggrin Riku looks way better in KH2, having finally shed the blush and eyeliner and is now much less likely to be mistaken for a female.
I SO want his shoes! Leon didn't change much, but that's okay, because he's
sexy enough to begin with. XP
And of course beyond looking cooler and having higher graphical quality, KH2 clothes are the magical transforming kind.
biggrin I'm confused at how the Organization coats work. Riku grabs the front and rips it off himself to reveal a new outfit underneat, and the coat seems to be intact while it's flying downward, and Roxas' clothing apparently transformed when he was digitized into Twilight Town... they must be magic. Or something. There's no way they could have been wearing those clothes underneath the coat.
I haven't finished Chain of Memories, so I have no clue how Riku and Mickey got Org coats in the first place. Does it ever explain it? o.o
