Breeding notes, pricing reference, pet trades, and miscellaneous info goes here! Eggus and Aryn's Tank Breeding:
- Anyone is free to ask about a breeding with betas from my tank.
- Please read the breeding info supplied the beta's post before asking. It will give you an idea of what I'm looking for or an indication that I'll be very picky.
- ALL of my mated betas are OFF LIMITS. PERIOD. They will breed only with their mates.
-The interested parties lists are in no particular order, other than grouping betas by owner.
- If your beta is placed on a list of interested parties, this is your permission to snag a slot (or point me at one) at anytime as long as the beta is not occupied. I will pay half if you will let me (please let me!).
- If you do snag a slot, PLEASE let me know so I can make a note before someone else tries to snag a slot with the same beta.
- If you get the two bred by me (in slots or anytimes, etc), you only have to pay your half of the total cost.
- If I ever have free time for random breedings involving my betas, there will be no cost.
- In the event of 2 eggs from a breeding, each person gets one egg to do what they will. I'm cool with co-owning if needed.
- If my co-owner is breeding the beta, then they have priority over me in the egg placement decision in the event of two eggs.
- In the event of 3 or more eggs from a breeding, each person gets one egg to do with what they will and the others' fates will be discussed.
-- Generally, the person who snagged the slot will get priority in the decision making and SEs are split as evenly as possible/sent out to deserving people.
Special Editions:
- I am not necessarily gunning for any SE types; colors and patterns concern me more than type, though there are a few SEs I'd love to have. I will never say no to gifts.
- If you have any special requirements for an SE given to me, I will abide by them, or simply mark the beta as unavailable (but please tell me what the restrictions are!).
- Do not continuously harass me about the SEs I own (for eggs or for a breeding), especially if they're rare/marked off limits. A no means no.
- Any tantrums thrown for turning down your offer on certain SEs of mine will be ignored. If you insist on continuing this behavior, I will ban you from my work thread and all low priced events I run.

Mating:

- I will RARELY mate my betas outside of my tank. However I might be willing to mark down "always yes."
- I will not mate original cosplays unless they have CONCRETE CANON evidence of a romantic relationship, past present or future, regardless of gender. Subtext =/= concrete, and my subtext is probably not your subtext.
All of this means that most of my betas will remain fair game.
RP:
- Actually, let's make this simple. NO.
Zhou Yu and Xiao Qiao Eggus I love these two, and recently I've realized that I love them enough to let them go. So, for the first time EVER, someone(s) other than me will be able to own a Xiao Qiao and/or Zhou Yu.
In accepting a Zhou Yu or Xiao Qiao egg you are agreeing to these terms:
- To understand that these two are VERY special to me.
- To notify me if you're planning to hand out any Zhou Yu or Xiao Qiao eggs that result from breedings to new people BEFORE you do so.
- To not sell any Zhou Yu or Xiao Qiao eggs that result from a breeding. Period. EVER.
- To not breed a Zhou Yu or Xiao Qiao with any other Zhou Yu or Xiao Qiao (DUH!), nor with any Sun Ce or Da Qiao (if they appear).
*** In the event I disappear from Gaia for an extended period of time or permanently, these restrictions WILL REMAIN VALID. You may breed your Zhou Yu and/or Xiao Qiao as much or as little as you want, but you may not hand them out to new people unless you've checked with me FIRST. ***

Should you choose to accept this mission, here's how it'll work:
- Check the list below for eligible betas/pairs.
- PM or DM me about whether they are occupied elsewhere. DO THIS BEFORE SUBMITTING THEM FOR A SLOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
- Snag a breeding slot! I can edit in confirmation of permission.
- Let me know about the slot! I'm happy to reimburse you/pay for half if you just tell me about it.
- The resulting eggs are 100% YOURS to give out to whomever you please! I don't even need one. However, you cannot impose any restrictions on owners who receive them. (the point is to SPREAD THE LOVE)
*** In the event I disappear from Gaia for an extended period of time or permanently, this permission is revoked unless we already agreed to put a pair in a breeding slot or you're able to contact me off-Gaia somehow. Since previous eggs themselves have no restrictions, continue to breed/hand out those fish FREELY FOREVER AND EVER. ***
Gaia Absence Notes In the event I disappear from Gaia for an extended period of time or permanently, here are some general guidelines:
- Please continue to abide by the restrictions outlined/noted above (particularly with Zhou Yu, Xiao Qiao, Charlie Andrews, Hiro Nakamura, Inara, Haruhi, Jade, and Kitana lines) when breeding betas/handing out eggs.
- If the beta is co-owned or mated, the co-owner/mate's owner with gain complete authority until I return. Please check with the co-owner/mate's owner if you want to complete a breeding we set up previously.
- If we had a previous breeding set up that you would like to complete, you are free to do so as long as the beta is not otherwise occupied. I would appreciate co-ownership of at least one egg for when I return.
- Please do not set up any new breedings with my beta unless you've contacted me personally or messages have been passed along through someone who is able to contact me personally. Exception, of course, to co-owned and mated betas.

Bofu is a very special beta, because he is based off of my RL husband. This fishie borrowed said husband's nickname and got it tattooed in katakana on his shoulder. He is a very sweet and sometimes awkward guy, and very much a Three Kingdoms geek. Just like his RL counterpart. Drawn & colored by Aryn. Breeding Info Mated!
Bofu is mated to the original Aryn staff beta. Don't even think about touching unless you want to see why she's called the "Kawaii Asskicker."

These two make up my favorite Dynasty Warriors couple, barely edging out Sun Ce (Zhou Yu's sworn brother) and Da Qiao (Xiao Qiao's older sister). The most delightful dynamic in their relationship is the differences in personality. Xiao Qiao was the first character I ever RPed and I met my fiance in that very forum because he had picked up Zhou Yu. Any cosplay pets I get will probably be based off these two.
Zhou Yu is calm, cool, handsome, impossibly talented, and one of the most brilliant minds of his age, if not THE most. Head strategist of Wu, he strives to bring about the dream of a united land under his sworn brother Sun Ce. He's a bit of a workaholic and tends to occasionally overlook his important normal tasks, but he loves his wife dearly and is grateful for her continuous support.
Xiao Qiao on the other hand, is cute, energetic, eternally cheerful, innocently curious, and a klutz. She, like her older sister Da, is said to be so beautiful that birds forget to fly, fish drown, and flowers and even the moon hide their faces in shame. She cares nothing for those tales and thinks only of keeping people happy and helping her beloved husband achieve his goals... even if it means tying him down to make sure he eats and sleeps.

Zhou Ying can come off as dry and sarcastic and maybe even a little cynical, but she's really upbeat and almost always has a smile on her face. Her teasing is always meant in good fun and shouldn't be taken seriously, and she enjoys casual conversation as much as intellectual. Colored by Aryn. Breeding info We'll see.

Zhou Xun takes more after his father and his father's protege, Lu Xun, than his other two siblings. According to them, he takes more after the younger version of Lu Xun than is healthy. He strives hard to study strategy and politics, believing it is his duty to help protect Wu. He's still young and everyone is certain he'll grow out of it eventually and become more confident and less of a social misfit. Colored by Aryn. Breeding info We'll see.

Zhou Yin is the Zhou sibling that takes after their mother the most. He's hyper, eternally happy, eager, and always ready to make new friends. Underneath the happy-go-lucky, he's more clever than people give him credit for. He just has a different way of looking at things.
