I knew of Tool when I was little 'cos it was played around the house a lot (brothers) but I never really gave a care until 2004.
I think I heard A Perfect Circle then which made me like Tool more.

I guess it wasn't music that got me into Tool rather than hearing Orestes and Lateralus played through a tampered Sims music folder. Got into APC because of Orestes and their cover of Diary of a Madman/Lovesong which naturally led me to check out Tool.

My cousin played me some Tool a few years back (this was before Lateralus) and I liked it. I started listening to them more and I liked it. And one day I woke up and I loved it.

Deadwing Lullaby Tool got me into other music in 1996. For the most part. I listened to only Frank Zappa beforehand, and I've still yet to find a link.

nine inch nails, tool, and apc were all thrown at me by my big sister. she always played them and since me and my sisters shared the same room i couldnt escape it.
i liked nin first then apc next was tool. i was about 11 or 12 at the time.

I heard Sober, which really got me into them. Then I bought Lateralus. My favorite album.

Hmmm.. im not sure, i jus remember seeing one of their videos on kerrang years ago and really liked it and my loving of tool has lead from there!

my mom!
she always used to listen to cool stuff before she got all gay.
i always on and off listend to undertow (it was her cd and she would hide it or only let me have it sometimes)
then like last year my bf bought more tool albums and we share. ripped on to my mp3. wating to get anemia in the mail
