Tsume wandered around his old packlands, saddened that they had been abandoned when he was away. He gazed back to see if the adolescent female wolf that had been following him was still there. He saw nothing. The black femme had vanished, like the rest of his pack. He sighed slightly before turning slightly and heading up to the caves.

Zhas sat high oh a cliff looking out at her old packlands looking for the silver Alpha Tsume. She missed him he was her best friend and maybe more although she didn't quite realize it. Zhas let out a loud lonely howl perhaps one day she mind find him. Zhas looked up to the tree to see her bald eagle familiar up in the tree looking out with her. His eyes were much better than hers the omega of the Barrens pack.
Zephyr screeched seeing Tsume far away heading to the caves. The eagle leapt off the branch and went after the Alpha.
Zhas looked at her familiar who had suddenly bust off the tree Zhas followed her howl being carried out by the wind.

Tsume flicked his ears slightly as he heard a lone howl from the caves. He stopped for a few minutes to gaze at the caves carefully after seeing something fly from it. He canted his head to one side and lifted his tail and head up high. 'Someone still lives here. I wonder if it is one of my old packmates,' he thought to himself excitedly. Slowly, he started heading towards the caves again, unaware that Zhas was coming towards him.

Zephyr called again and circled above Tsume calling to Zhas all the while he landed on a branch infront of Tsume looking at him. Zephyr still screeched to Zhas from the branch drawing her in ever closer.
Zhas listened to Zephyr call. Drawing her closer to her pack leader Tsume. His sent came to her nose, her heart leapt and she yiped out of pure joy so glad he was still around. She missed him so terribly. "Tsume!" She howled happily running over the pack lands faster trying to get to were she was supposed to be faster. "Tsume!" she howled joyfully again as she neared bursting out of the trees. Zhas stopped infront of him stopping suddenly. Panting her need to get there fast had worn her out a little.

Tsume glanced upwards to see the hawk circle him once before landing on a nearby tree. 'That hawk looks very...familiar,' he thought to himself. He was about to turn around and walk towards the tree when he heard someone shout his name. He turned his attention to who was speaking to him and saw Zhas running towards him. He stopped in his tracks and waited for the femme to catch up to him before taking a few steps forward. "Zhas. It is nice to see you again," he said in a soft voice. Carefully, he nuzzled her neck gently and nipped at her ears.

Zhas nodded collecting herself again she breathed in deeply and calmly catching her breath. She smiled at him and nodded not pulling away from his nuzzle. She nipped back at him playfully "Its been far to long Tsume." She nuzzled him back she missed her friend dearly. So much more than she had though. She couldn't understand why, she didn't understand her feelings deep inside for some reason. She should know what they ment but...

Tsume nodded his head, not caring that his friend was nipping him back. "True. Far too long for me to be gone from these lands. It seems that most of the pack members that were here are now gone." He gazed behind him, expecting to see the black female wolf that had been his 'shadow' for the entire journey back to his lands, but he didn't see her. sighing, he closed his eyes for a few moments before opening them again and looking at Zhas kindly. "I have brought another wolf with me to the lands. She is a little shy, but obedient, nonetheless. She is halfway grown, but once she does grow up, she will help us hunt for game and possible raise the pups...that is, if we get some."

Zhas nodded "Everyone left, I stayed though kept the territory the best I could" she grinned she was loyal to her back leader and would not abandon the territory. Zhas was hurt when he said he had brought another FEMALE wolf with him as though she had been replaced then about the pups as though the adolecent would bare them. "So she is..." Zhas broke off looking away hurt still. As though she was seccond place once more.

Tsume canted his head slightly to one side and looked at Zhas with a confused look on his face. "She my mate?!" he chuckled deep in his throat and thumped his tail against his hindquarters. "I plan on using her as a nanny, not as my mate," he told her, a hint of laughter in his voice.

"What are you laughing at!" she said defencively and with a slight growl "Then who is your mate." Zhas demanded of Tsume guessing his answer. Zhas was quite relived to know this new female was not his mate she was relived. "Ah" she grinned mishceviously "Follow me!" she began to run off toward her den. She had two pups to take care of now two males. She had them a few months after Tsume had left.

Tsume stopped chuckling and looked at her again curiously as Zhas trotted off towards the caves. He canted his head to one side and slowly trotted up to her side to follow her. "The only one who has been loyal to me ever since I look over leadership of these lands is my mate," he told her in a soft voice. He was curious of what Zhas wanted to show him.

Zhas smiled grinning proudly Nuzzling Tsume "My mate" she whispered in his ears. She stopped infront of her den and stood proudly. Zhas barked into the darkness and heard she wandered into the cave and lay doen beside her two pups only a few weeks old. "Come see your sons." she bade him
The two pups winned and barked as their mother came back to them.
Zephyr sceeched from above the tree he was gaurding the den. He cawed then lifted off the tree and began to hunt for his dinner.

Tsume nuzzled her back before stopped in front of the cave as his mate wandered into it. He took a few steps inside to see the two pups next to Zhas. He canted his head as he gazed at the two male pups curiously, one of them having some silver in his coat. Smiling slightly, he slowly walked towards his mate and offspring and sat down in front of the pups. Carefully, he pulled the black and silver one closer to him and licked his hear gently. "Shikon is your name, little one," he said in a soft voice.

Zhas smiled proudly and nodded at the name Tsume had given the silver male. Zhas had waited in naming the pups in hoping Tsume would return and sure enough he did so she could name them with her mate. Zhas nuzzled the black one "Orion is your name" she said her voice almost a whisper. Zhas licked Orion's jet black fur in a motherly sort of fasion. "I has Zephyr watch the cave when I was out hunting." she told Tsume.
The small newborn pup barked happily at his mothers lick. He nuzzled her back affectionatly trying to locate his brother and the new presence that had entered the cave he suspected to be his father.

Tsume nodded and gently picked Shikon by the scruff of his neck and returned him back to his mother. He sighed and glanced at the tree outside to find it to be empty. He flicked his plump tail slightly and then trotted to the mouth of the cave to see if the other female had returned yet.
Shikon yipped at his father when Tsume picked him up, but after sensing his brother next to him, he leaned against Orion's side and flopped down on his belly.
