Darsais looked down at the book in her lap and flipped another of the creamy pages. It was a most fantastic tale about a dragon and a knight, and in all the illustrations the Knight was dressed in a most peculiar suit of metal which made Darsais think that perhaps there was something robotic about him. The children's library was quite deserted, with no one walking between its tall, elegant shelves of countless stories. Silverah was over in the adult library looking for science fiction and self help books. Nereida was ogling the fishtank in the lobby (and quite possibly thinking of the best way to jump in.)
Darsais flipped another page and read the last paragraph, satisfied somewhat with the ending, and reached for the next book, about ballet. She loved ballet, but her current legs weren't articulated for it. After asking Doc about it, he'd promised that after she grew she'd be able to twirl to her heart's content. That had satisfied Darsais quite a bit.
Idly, she twirled her fingers in the trim of her scarf as she read. It was strange, the scarf. She insisted on wearing it, no matter what outfit. Today she was in a t-shirt and shorts and she'd still insisted on the scarf. Even Darsais didn't know why.
She flipped another page and continued reading.

Peaseblossom walked infront of her happy to see the new Libary she had heard about. She had enjoyed the trip, but yet she had grown bored with it very quickly. She ran through the libary not really looking for any section in particular but picking up books as she spotted them. Within minutes she had her arms full of books. She found a large table by the window and sat down sorting through her books to decide what to read. She finally settled on a book on weather. Yvette in the mean time was off in the sewing section skimming through some books.

Hearing a noise at the table nearby, Darsais looked up from her book. Craning her neck around, she could see a girl about her own age with a mass of bright orange curls and ... was that metal glinting on her cheeks? Could this newcomer girl possibly be another Kybernetik? Darsais had never met another kybernetik like herself, except for chips, but she barely considered those.
Darsais slid a bookmark into the crease of the binding and closed the book. Tucking it under her arm, she stood up and approached the other girl. "Hi?"

Peaseblossom looked up at Darsais and smiled, "Hello... I'm Peaseblossom. I don't mean to be rude, but are you a robot too like me?" She shut the book she had just opened pushing them all to the side so the space next to her was free motioning for Darsais to sit down next to her. She had never really met new people until this last weekend, and those people never really paid attention to her. She just tried to act as nice as Yvette's mother Clydene had acted with her.

She sat down in the chair indicated and looked at the books. "Whatcha readin'?"

Peaseblossom looked at her books, "Oh just different things, I have some on medicine, robots, law, all sorts of things. I'm trying to find that one thing I'm really interested in. It's kinda hard. I like Titania my doll," Peaseblossom held up the rag doll that had been sitting in her lap she now held it to her chest with her arms across the small doll. "My technical name is Adoma, but Yvette named me Peaseblossom.. she isnt' the brightest crayon in the box."

Kluster yawned as he walked abesntly minded about the lab. His father had to report into work early today for the shinanigan he pulled back in Japan. The virus had pretty much crashed the entire network and they were now paying him double to fix the problem.
The kybernetic fixed the headphones over his ears, letting just a little bit of J-pop music spill into the open air. He had been listening to the CD pretty much exclusivly since Shad had gotten back from Japan with it.
He turned the door nob to the library, paying more attention to the music, and entered. His eyes widened a bit and he suddenly felt like he had a blush over his face. There were two girls already in the library and Kulster wasn't in the most presentable attire.
A red tanktop fell loosely over his shoulders, covereing the waist of a pair of jungle green shorts and a pair of sandals was all he wore on his feet. Good for just lounging the day away, but Shad had always told him too look nice for those of the opposite gender.
Kluster gave a weak laugh, a weaker laugh and an even weaker wave to the two girls. "Um...hey," he mannaged to eek out in a bit of embarisment.

Kluster inched over and took a seat in one of the wooden chairs and ignored the squeek the chair made when he sat down. His face still felt like he was blushing, though madly this time. He felt very uncomfortable in this situation and felt like he wanted to get out of it was quickly as possible.
He sat in a bit of uncomfortable silence for a second. "I didn't interupt anything, did I?" He asked.

Darsais shook her head. "No, you didn't interupt," she said, pulling a book about pirates towards her from the center of the table. "We're kinda bored."
She paused, trying to remember what she was going to say. "Oh. I don't bite, but I'm not sure about Nereida." She pointed momentarily towards the green-skinned fae who was terrorizing the fish tank.
(OOC: Nereida is my character at the 030 Project.)

Peaseblosom smiled at him a bit then looked at her books going through the titles to see if any jumped out at her, but none did. "Yea we were just talking a bit, nothing special. What are you doing here?"

Kluster scooted back into his chair. The two of them seemed nice enough, but he still felt uncomfortable. "I was...just here for a quick visit." He said, trying to get himself acclimated. "My dad was called into work early."

Darsais nodded in understanding. "Okay," she said. "You're Kluster, right? We met at the lab over the summer I think." She paused and looked at the book in front of her. "What do you like to read?

Yvette looked at Kluster smiling, "If you like sewing my mom would love you to death, but I doubt you do. May I ask what your dad does?" She was trying to be nice to the nervous bot infront of them. Just now noticing his uneasy behavoir.

Now that he thought about it, the one girl did look familliar. She was probably the other Kybernetic that Doc was taking care of while his dad was in Japan. He couldn't quite remember her name, but he knew it was Dasais or something along the lines of that.
"Yeah, I'm Kluster." He replied. "And...I kinda like Mystery novels." The Kybernetic could feel a little bit of his unease let up the longer he was there. Logically, he should feel much better around them as time went on.
"My da works an that computer company in northern Durem. Called ENCOM--or something like that." He added to answer the other girl's question. "He works with all the computer programs and Artificial Intelegences there. He's really good at coding but the corporate losers won't promote him."
He didn't really know who it was that was keeping his dad from getting promoted and just opted for the term that Shad always used when talking about them. Something in the back of his neural processors wanted to know if maybe saying that in public was a bad thing.
