Appearance: A woman of about 25, 5'10", of average size. She's no stick figure, but she's not overweight either. The general assumption is that her hair is brown under all that dye, but who can tell? Now it's a tie dyed mass of pink and blue and orange that makes about as much sense as Harry herself. It falls about to her shoulders in no particular style (Somewhere between bed head and convertible on a windy day) in stark contrast with her olive tone skin and pale blue eyes. Her most obvious genetic heritage is Greek and Native American, giving her darker skin and a resilience to sunburn she takes full advantage of. She's not an outstandingly attractive person, but she doesn’t really need to be. She's never been the type to worry about dating and the like. She wears whatever she kind find, usually thrift store nonsense. She loves bright colors and a loose fit. Fond of blue jeans.
Character Personality: Generally laid back and lazy. She doesn’t care much about what's going on the majority of the time because she finds it boring. She's a fiend for any kind of adventure and is obsessed with puzzles and riddles. It's very rare you'll catch her anywhere without a rubix cube or crossword in her hands. Naturally, this makes her a little spacey. However, when the opportunity for real excitement presents itself, Harry jumps in with both feet and more enthusiasm than a six year old at Disney World.
Character Background: An army brat, Harriett grew up all over the world, being shuffled from base housing unit to base housing unit at least once a year, and loved it. Travel appealed to her even at a young age and she could never back down from a challenge, but it wasn't until the disappearance of her older brother that the reckless adventure seeking really set in. The siblings were very close and Harry could never accept that he'd just run off and wouldn't even consider the possibility that he was dead. She dropped out of college and began a worldwide hunt for him, living off the money she made part time, working in the towns she stopped in. She developed a love of extreme sports during her travels and has tried most everything at least once. Her personal favorites are mountain climbing and sky diving and her biggest dream beyond finding her brother is to repel down the side of the Empire State Building.

How She got to the Island: During all of her hunting, one of Harriett's sources mentioned a sighting of Jacob somewhere near the Bermuda Triangle. Harriett wasted no time in acquiring transport to that forsaken place. Transport sponsored by Feral Labs...

The Daring Jumping Spider is one of the most common spiders in the southern U.S. It gets its name because of its amazing leaping ability.
Male Daring Jumping Spiders are between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch long. Females are slightly larger.
This spider is black with a gray or white crossband on its abdomens (back body section) and several gray or white spots.
The Daring Jumping Spider lives in woods, fields, or gardens. It is often seen on tree trunks, fallen limbs, leaves, or other ground litter.
These spiders do not build webs to catch prey. Instead, they hunt their prey on foot. They do use silk to make a small shelter under a leaf or bark.
To catch prey, Daring Jumping Spiders sneak up on it, then pounce. They can leap great distances when you consider their size.
These spiders eat all sorts of insects, as well as other spiders. They do most of their hunting during the day.
Daring Jumping Spiders have some of the best vision of all spiders. They have eight eyes. Four big eyes are located on the spider's face. The other four are on top of the head.
Female spiders use silk to put eggs in. They usually stay in their silky leaf shelter until the eggs have hatched and all the spiderlings have left.
Predators of Daring Jumping Spiders include birds, shrews, lizards, and other bug-eating creatures.
Daring Jumping Spiders are great insect controllers. They do enter homes sometimes and can be found on window sills or curtains hunting insects. They will kill many household pests, such as fleas, flies, moths, and crickets. They do bite people when they are disturbed. The bite can sometimes leave a whelt.
