Sakura Picnic
Okie! The picnic! Whooo! xD.
Surroundings: The surroundings of the picnic is very breath taking. And of course, the area is surrounded by blossoming cherry trees! The place has fields filled with Cherry Tree's and nearby a random stream somewhere. Sometimes the grass can be mistaken by flowers because of all the petals falling off the tree's gracefully. Nearby the Cherry Tree sanctuary is the HeadMaster Mattus's office building and The Welcome to Ria gates! Also, it is rumored that these kind of events is a place of romance! Blah! And. er. Yeah! There is also picnic tables around the tree's and reserved places for people to place down there blankets! Whoo! This place is also where games will be hold, don't be afriad to bring a Volley Ball or frisbee or anything else to the event!
Psst. Makie. Tell Oliver! xP

Kira entered the festivil to get to know people and to relax. Though she haven't really seen anyone at all. Having no date for it she was alone and single. She never been to a festivil so this was her first time. Luckly for her she showed up early and lay down at a bark of a cherry tree. Soon, she fell asleep and was having really good dreams. She was wearing a green dress that was far more fancy than her normal clothes. Her necklace showen out a little too much, but it was safe at the moment. ((I won't have much time to post since I am boing to be gone all day and I wanted to try to participate.))

Walking towards the picnic area, Sakura laughed lightly remembering how her friend had become confused when she had told him that the school was having a Sakura festival. They have a festival for you, he had asked that day. She had laughed and explained to him what it was all about. This was the time of year when she was pleased that her parents had named her Sakura. The cherry blossoms she had been named for always came in so beautifully. Even when falling off the trees they made it seem like it was snowing rather than pedals dying and falling off.
That morning she had spent hours prepping her kimono for this particular festival. Making sure there were no unnecessary creases anywhere on it. It had been a gift her mother had given her when she turned sixteen. Surprisingly, having not grown an inch since then, she was still able to put it on. It was almost completely black silk, except for the small designs on it that looked like cherry blossoms. The sash she tied it on with was a light pink to match the color of the blossoms on the kimono. She was always pleasantly pleased with the fact that she was still able to wear it, and had not had to replace it once.

Orthae entered the festival...dragging a very surly, grumbling Verin by the collar. He knows I hate crowds... Verin thought, ...yet, he drags me to this festival thing anyway. Unlike Orthae (who was dressed in a black yukata with a fish pattern), Verin was dressed in his normal outfit. To him, the outfit was more than Japan-esque. Orthae's outfit was modern casual, though, so he opted to change. Don't ask him where he got it from, it's a long story. Said long story short, black magic can be used for both ruin and creation. They each took their ticket stubs gratefully, and Orthae continued to drag Verin until he finally gave in and chose to walk.
Neither of them had ever been to a festival like this before. Verin wasn't all too excited, but Orthae was positively enamored by the sight of the light pink blossoms raining down from the trees. "Isn't it wonderful, Verin?" Orthae asked. "Pbbt...just looks like a bunch of trees with wrongly-colored leaves to me." Verin grumbled. "Well, you just have to appreciate the beauty of it. And they're blossoms, not leaves." Orthae smiled gleefully. Verin sat down and leaned back against one of the cherry blossom trees as Orthae stood, looking all around at the splendor of the trees.

Sakura heard the quarrelling of the two boys behind her. Turning around she wasn't too surprised to find that it was Verin and Orthae. Having pulled her hair down from its usual ponytail, she had twisted it up and locked it in place with what looked like two wooden sticks. She let out a small laugh, muffling most of it with her hand as soon as it came out. Those two will never grow up, she thought to herself, I just met them recently and all they do is fight. Strolling over behind Orthae she picked up a small cherry blossom from the ground and pushed the small stem into her hair. "Can't you two just have a bit of fun for a while," she said calmly. "Verin, just have fun how many times a year can you say you actually can do absolutely nothing if you wanted?"

The scent of food, the flying blossom petals around the area, and the constant sound of talking. It was almost like AI was back in Heaven. Almost. With a simple smile on her pale delicate face, she let out a large happy sigh. She just loves Cherry Blossoms, the're so beautiful and romantic; maybe because her first name is Sakura?
What she was wearing was what she made over the past two weeks, it was a kimono. The kimono is a light lucious pink color, mixed with lavender. And as designs was white lillies and Cherry Blossoms. Her long glossy lavender hair was pulled up into two buns, but covered with Bao's, some strands of her baby thin hair was loose from her Bao's. She also had a silver bell with a white lacy ribbon on the right side of her hair; a bell and a ribbon is her signature dressup.
In her right hand, she was carrying a basket filled with many delicious rice balls, each one had different flavors and tastes. And underneath her left arm was a blanket.
"Isn't the blossoms so gorgoues this year, Oliver?" She asked her younger adopted brother. Who was wearing the same yukata Ai made for him for last year's Summer Festival. The yukata has a royal blue color with cute or kawaii panda and black cat face designs. On top of his messy black hair, he was wearing his most favorite hat; his Black Cat hat. Almost making him look like he was wearing real cat ears.
"Oui! C'est Beau!" he cried in his french accent as he waved his arms around excitedly, a hige childish smile on his face as he took the blanket out of underneath Ai's arm and started unfold on the ground.

"It's not that I don't want to have fun. I'm all for fun, but he dragged me here, knowing an event like would attract students. A lot of students." Verin was absolutely paranoid when it came to crowds. After all, when you live in the world of the Drow for a year, you watch your back and your front 24/7 for fear of someone dropping you dead where you stand, and it usually came via a dagger. "Oh, please, Verin. The students here are good-natured and kind...well, most of them are, at least." Orthae smiled. Yeah, most...that's reeeal comforting. Verin thought. Orthae turned to Sakura, ignoring Verin's grumblings. The kimono she was in was breathtaking, and matched the scenery perfectly. "If I may say, you're looking lovely today, Miss Sakura." Orthae said with a short bow.

Sakura smiled brightly, "Why thank you. You look very nice too. It's a pity Verin would probably try and strangle us if we attempted to hold him down and dress him in a yukata as well." Half giggling, she turned and looked towards the small stands that had been set up for the festival. "Oh wow," she said suddenly. "Look, they have karaoke. You two should try it." She half felt suddenly that she might get a smack across the face for suggesting something like that, but she had thought their singing together was quite good. As she looked around and spoke to the two young men, she kept picking up cherry blossoms, tying them together by their stems until she made a ring. Pulling the sticks from her hair she allowed it to hang loose a moment while she placed the delicate ring around her head. She tied her hair back up in place to keep the ring of pale pink flowers from falling from her head.

Verin closed his eyes while he rested against the tree. Orthae was still practically hopping about with excitement. He pulled out a little brochure thing detailing the event. Verin cracked an eye open, and couldn't help but ask, "Where the hell do you get all those things?" Laughing, Orthae replied, "By asking, of course!" He looked through the brochure for a minute or two, the Games booths particularly appealing to him. "Oh, hey, they have games! Cool. You two have fun, I'm gonna go try my hand at some of the games!" With a wave, he trotted away toward the Games booths.
"What a nut." Verin chuckled. Looking up at Sakura, he noticed the cherry blossom ring she had adorned. That girl certainly had a way with things. "Huh, that's a nice little trinket. Looks good on you." Yes, Verin had given a compliment, don't head for the hills just yet, though.

Hideki went straight from the entrance gates to the cherry trees, looking around in confusion. Was... something going on today? His wolf tail wagged a little faster at the thought. I came just in time! he grinned to himself, once more accidentally showing off his fangs. His golden eyes darted around the area, peering through strands of dusty brown hair that hung in his face. He saw several people around, but just stood in place. They seemed to have already paired off or grouped together, and he didn't really want to bother them. Though, if he saw someone alone, he'd definintely approach.
Tail still wagging happily, Hideki walked further into the area, staring around at the cherry trees and the picnic tables around them. He tugged at his partially unbuttoned white shirt and then paused as another thought hit him. Some people seemed to be in kimonos and yukatas... Was he supposed to dress up as well? But he didn't own one! He froze right where he was, still tugging uncertainly at his shirt as he stared down at it.

Kimonto glanced around from where she was, which was already inside the event. She felt really out of place considering that she wasn't wearing a kimono and everyone else was. In place of a kimono was a white tank top and a short black mini skirt with white knee highs. She sighed as she looked at all the cherry blossoms that were falling and picked one off the ground. She placed it carefully beind her left ear, the pink colors going well with her silver blonde locks.
She sat down on a bench and sighed as she hung her head, she shouldn't have come to this thing alone, now she looked kind of pathetic. Then again she hadn't know that everyone was going to be all coupled off and she couldn't really intrude. She glanced over and saw a wolf like boy who was at the entrance, he looked intresting, but she didn't want to say anything in case he already had a date.

Hideki gazed almost blankly at his shirt for a moment longer, and then stole another glance at his surroundings. His eyes settled upon a girl sitting on a bench, who was hanging her head rather sadly. He frowned, his tail ceasing its happy movement. Though, he was relieved that here was someone else not dressed up either. He paused just for a second and then walked over to her, plopping down on the bench beside her without even saying anything.
Then he turned to face her, fang revealing grin back upon his face. He wasn't one to discriminate against nekos just because he was a wolf, so his was going to act like he would towards anyone else. "What's the matter, love?" he asked, wincing mentally as he spoke the last word without really thinking. Hopefully she wouldn't freak out or anything from it. "This is some sort of..." he paused, not really knowing at all what it was. "Thing," he finished lamely. "But I'm sure it's a fun thing, so why do you look so down?"

Kimonto looked up upon seeing the guy she had just been looking at sit down next to her. She saw his fangs but thought they were rather intresting but not scary, wolfs and neko's didn't always get along but he didn't seem to mind. When she heard him say love she just smiled brighter, he was diffenatly intresting and new it seemed. She was glad that he wasn't dressed up and for the moment he looked like he wasn't paired off at least.
"Sorry...its just everyone is paired off....I feel a little out of place" she said as she then glanced at the table, the wind carring more blossoms onto it. "Not to mention both of us are not wearing what everyone else is, its kind of strange I guess to them" she added. She looked back up at him though and smiled slightly, he seemed like the happy go lucky type.

Hideki paused for a moment, head tilting just slightly as he listened to her speak. Then he shook his head, offering a bright smile. "Don't worry about it, love!" he exclaimed. "Just because they're dressed up doesn't mean we have to be. I mean, I know that I don't even own a... yukata thing." He gave a small shrug and then stared around. "And I just arrived here at the school a few minutes ago, so I haven't paired off either. I don't even know anyone! But... I don't see why everyone always has to pair off. It can be fun by yourself too, to enjoying things at your own pace." He turned back to face her again, still smiling cheerfully. "But, if you'd like it, I wouldn't mind keeping you company today if you could stand having me around." He laughed after that, his tail wagging behind him once more. Honestly, he was glad it was something so simple that had been bothering her. If it was more serious, he might not have been able to help.

Kimonto considered everything for a moment, knowing that he was right about the clothing. She didn't have to wear it to fit in and it wasn't like everyone was paired off, there actually weren't too many people because they appeared to be a bit early. She nodded her head at him "Okay sounds like fun" she said as she aggred to his offer. She wasn't really sure what kind of offer it was but she hoped that they could at least become good friends.
"You sure say love a lot" Kimonto added after he had finished talking, but it didn't really annoy her, she was fine with it. "My name's Kimonto, just call me Kim if you like" she said as she streatched slightly. She was eager to explore the area, she had heard a lot about the festival and wanted to see what all was going on. She had heard about the kimono event but would rather watch then be a part of it.
