My friend and I both have theories of our past lives, and what could be purely random "evidence" towards them. (It is totally coinicidental we both believe this and have so many simular situations.) Well, we both have theories we were wolves and some kind of Asian (most likely Japanese) person. We both get odd cravings almost to howl, and even though I'm a vegitarian, I sometimes finding myself thinking about knawing into a big juicy, dripping steak. And we have some random habits we think could point to the Asian, we do odd things with fans and our fake Shuriken, that could be explained by Asian steryotypes and past info (like how the women wear/wore kimonos and other such stuff). The biggest thing we've found odd is sometimes when we'll be reading, writing or doing other things, we'll try to do them backwards, like read right to left and just end up confusing ourselves. I was at the eye doctor, taking that reading test thing were they test your eyes and I could have sworn it was backwards, I kept asking the nurse type person "Are you SURE it's not backwards?" then I realized I was reading it backwards, but I could have sworn I was reading it the right way. This happens to me and my friend a lot. So, I was wondering what you guys think. Purely coinicidental? Or actual past live habits coming through? Do you know of any way to see how coincidental as compaired to true habits these situations are, like besides talking to spirit guides. (I am having trouble with that still and my friend isn't Wiccan and doesn't believe a lot of that type of stuff, but she does believe in magic and the basic stuff like that.)
(Crap, I've gotta run, I'll check back tomorrow, gomen!)

If you don't want to try hypnosis, try dowsing. Someone posted a tutorial on it a few days back, it's worth a shot. I haven't used that manner, but it might work...

Meh, I wouldn't be amazed. People tell me I need to talk to a mental doctor a lot, some even suggest a huggy jacket and a nice long stay in a comfy room. Anyways, I'll check that out, thanks you two! (*snickers as she realizes that right below her post is a post titled the same exact thing*)

They suck, I know, I have been in one, and it is no fun. Especially when some of the orderlies are not above busting some 10 year olds HEAD open. Kid had to get something like 38 stitches.. stressed

Yeah, my partner spent a little time in a sanitorium. He said it was one of the worst experiences of his life. ...my doctor suggested I check into one, once, but I didn't really want to. I figured that would just screw me up more. Personally, I think therapy can be good for some, but it's not for everyone. I just cancelled an appointment today because I didn't feel like being more depressed than I all ready am. I usually end up yelling and screaming and crying and it goes nowhere. ... but that's now. In the past, I think I didn't exist.

Yeah, I knew this guy that was in one for about 3-4 months and then came out, a month later, he was back in. He had not improved at all during his time in there, and then he got out. They do seem to be worthless (but I do want a padded room to bounce around in, it sounds fun! sweatdrop ). Therapy would do me no good, seriously. I've talked to couslors and I'm just unable to let it all out, so it would be a pointless waste of my money. Plus, when I want to become one, saying I go to therapy myself would not help me getting a job.

A lot of people I know feel more comfortable talking to me because I can relate to a lot of things that are bothering them (sometimes too well...). Professionally speaking, though, saying you must go to therapy isn't the best incentive to hiring...

It's not exactly like you're going to get hired tomorrow, especially if you're still in school...so no need to worry about it right now. If you were, say, fourty, and a practicing therapist seeing one, then yeah, I'd say it's not the best of things...

It is rather odd, if you look at it from the outside of their little 'club'. But if you look at it through their eyes, then it is fairly normal. Anyway, as it stands, most rooms in an asylum are NOT padded. As A matter of fact, some of them are not even allowed to have padded rooms, as some patients are allergic to the padding. So they have to strap the patient to A bed. It is disgusting, if you ask my opinion. They are still breaking most of the laws they are required to heed. So NEVER go into one, even if it is for something like attemted suicide, like me, just ask to go somewhere less "Dangerous". You will be better off, I assure you.

I love it too much blaugh Back when I was in what, 5th grade or something like that, I thought about it. I was going through a depressive period then, basically 'cause I was the new kid and I wasn't sexy, so like no one liked me. So anyways, I started thinking about it, but I was always too scared to kill myself. (Let me tell you, I am SO happy I was too scared! I love life now. heart ) I also had a friend that has been cutting and drinking since around 6th grade (she's had a really hard life). Some people do seem to start really early.

I've been on and off suicidal since I was little, but never decided how I wanted to do it. My indecisiveness has saved my life sweatdrop

And then, the one time I get really close to my goal, my body decides it does not like to bleed. WTF, I mean seriously, I can bleed profusely from A small cut, but when I open up my forearm with A good 3 inches, I get nothing? stressed
