In the current age of wretched "reality" tv, I was reflecting on earlier ages when there were programs that required actors and scripts..... and I was thinking about some of my favorite tv shows, which often were sitcoms.
I think 2 of my favorites where 'WRKP in Cincinnati" and "Night Court". I was wondering other peoples favorites were.

I used to love Cheers, although it's a bit dated now.

For most of my life, I didn't have a TV and/or cable. I like Frasier (DVDs), Will & Grace, and Arrested Development, which Fox unfortunately pulled this year. *grumbles*

I liked a few of them but Perfect Stangers was probably my all time favorite. I was glad when ABC aired the follow up final season years after the original show ended(this was when ABC's TGIF line up was actually worth waiting for)

All hail the Andy Griffeth show.
I also liked some of the ones already picked.
As for the brit coms, As Time Goes By would be my fave.
