[Past RP with Ngoyen and Ciyari]
Ciyari=Dust
Ngoyen=FRICTIONfighter
An orange yet gold pelt was seen as a young lion made her way into the firekinlands . Her sapphire eyes looked upon the un-explored area as she padded to the river, a dull expression on her face as she exhaled deeply and dipped her tongue into the water, lapping it up gratefully. She swiftly clambered onto a nearby rock and accepted it as her perch for today, surveying the terra for the second time.
Ngoyen yawned mightily. He was still sleepy, having have just awoken from a deep slumber. When he was not able to find any meat of any kind, the large lion had eaten fibers, which seemed to tire his poor system out. But now, after two days of deep slumber, the male was awake, and his tummy was roaring louder than he ever would. Standing up he sighed, looking around, hoping for something that was edible to pass his way.
Maawio sighed again and leapt off the rock, coming to a halt by a grey beast. Perhaps a rouge? Or maybe a firekin pride member? She whimpered to herself slightly and tried to pad slowly around the creature.
Sitting back on his haunches, warmed by the rock, Ngoyen was mumbling to himself...something about him needing eats. He heard something, and turned the wrong way looking for the source of the sound. "He-hello? Is anyone there? I'm hungry..."
The gray juvenile lioness has progressed from a bumbling little cub into something slightly more graceful. Petite still, she nevertheless carries herself with the automatic grace of a little queen - paws daintly stepping over the turf. Despite a rugged appearance, she carries herself with much more dignity than a rogue probably should.
The child lightly dances across the sandy earth that fills this part of the savannah. Off to the north lies the Firekin territory - to the south, the Pridelands. She sniffs. Both are worth her attention only as potential allies or enemies...perhaps she'll deign to talk to them one day. For now, however, she ignores the interiors where the prides generally lurk.
She pauses, however, as she spots something golden move out of the corner of her eye, and the child swerves about, to glare at the feline nearby. The cub has the cheek to be higher than her. But maybe she just hasn't seen Ciyari yet. Primly, the child smacks the ground with her tail, clearing her throat to say something -
- and jumps. Right near her, something rumbles, and she glances about, glaring at Ngoyen's stomach - and then at Ngoyen, as he shifts up onto all fours.
Her muzzle turned towards the dainty silver pelted female. Her sapphire eyes widened with curiousity. Her tail beat against the soil as she inquired the female, who was slightly older than herself. "H-hello? Who are you?"
She asked, she was stupid not to have realised that exploring would mean meeting new lions and creatures. She peeked up to the male with wider optics still.
"I am Ciyari, Queen of the RiverStar Pride," The child says haughtily, eyeing the golden-pelted juvenile up dubiously. "Who are you?" She carelessly sits down, in one fell swoop, and licks a paw, as if unconcerned with her position.
Maawio had grown a little and although she could still get anxious she wasnt as bad as she was. "B-bit small for a queen?..." She half asked herself. She raised a brow, although feeling nervous around a queen, should she act differently around this one?
The gray cub stares down her nose at Maawio, eyebrows darting together in a fashion that suggests that Ciyari isn't all that pleased.
"Size doesn't matter," She says, with a sniff. "Termites are small, and they can cause a lot of trouble. So can fire-ants."
Maawio glanced in another direction. "I must be -g-going now" She nodded and darted off.
