This will be the dominant RP thread, featuring the more important plot information and the most acess to the city.
The city is very large, and sits along the east coast. From the high towers there is a view of the sea and a lone island that's still shadowed in ruins and wreckage.
Large walls surround the city, standing at fifteen feet high, a sparking electrical wire running along the top. There are only two official gates in the walls, both are heavily guarded and lined with customs officials.
The city is very clean with narrow block like streets, the main transportation system is public and functions like a trolly. There are a few private vehicles, mostly belonging to government officials, or the rich.
In general there is no sign of nature within the city, no trees or grass, only a few birds that fly down from the outside, and even they are rare.
Although most of the city is created on an equal basis, there are parts of that are clearly slums, while some more exotic personal properties rest on the otherside, with miniature walls of their own that mimic the style of the city itself.
There are however some basics within the city, including a library, although only legal books are allowed; and a Museum, mostly covering the mimic revolution, and the terrors of powered individuals, with a recent addition of a good heros gone bad display. Schools and factories also fill a chunk of the city, as well as markets that range from standard rationing to specialized, high price, and custom items.

((For people who were concerned that Ruby-ruby was dead...))
Ruby looked at the "Heroes gone bad" museum display, memorizing the names. Her hands were still shaking, and she was feeling the pain come creeping back, the hunger for another hit. She had the hood of her jacket pulled over her head and hair, and wore darkened shades over her eyes. The glass made everything grey, and she found it odly comforting to be able to see the world the same way she felt it.
She felt a pull towards the charm in her pocket, it wasn't much different from the drug. It stopped the hurt too, but in a different way. She wouldn't wear it in the museum, not while overlooking the display.
She looked at the picture they had of her, the blood red hair, the grey eyes, the silly smile, and then the pictures over, the camera stills on the security cameras at the hopsital. Where she, a hero, slaughtered nearly the whole first floor. She couldn't remember it. She hadn't even known about it until after the mimic revolution, right before Gran died. And then they stopped talking to her, all of them, seven brothers, cousins, uncles, aunts. They were afraid, some of them even hated.
A mother and daughter pushed in front of her and Ruby backed away from the display, her hood pushing back a small bit. The little girl glanced back and for a breif moment they locked eyes. The girl's eyes got big and she pulled at her mother's sleeve.
Ruby sighed, pulling back the hood and walking at a fast pace to the exit of the museum. She bumped into a stranger, knocking back her hood completely, and then took off in a run.
The workers at the info desk glanced at eachother, "That wasn't...."
"I dunno, coulda been, you've heard about her habbits."
"Heh, if she wasn't such a b***h, I might've asked for her autograph."

Bobby was walking past the Museum, when he caught a glimpse of red among the crowd. His breath caught for a moment. It couldn't be, she's been dead for almost three years, he thought, but he headed in that direction anyway, trying to keep her in sight, but not draw any attention to himself by moving faster than the plodding masses around him.

5ilver 5treak Bobby was walking past the Museum, when he caught a glimpse of red among the crowd. His breath caught for a moment. It couldn't be, she's been dead for almost three years, he thought, but he headed in that direction anyway, trying to keep her in sight, but not draw any attention to himself by moving faster than the plodding masses around him. As Bobby got closer, he started to see that the hair color was not the right red at all it wasn't rich enough, more of an orange, it wasn't Ruby. (If you're needin to know some secrets, and an explanation on why I did this, PM me, and I'll let you know. >.>)

Aly walked along the streets taking in the city's environment. It looked like something out of a toy model. Everything was precise and ridgid. Most of the buildings looked exactly the same except for the signs above their entrances. It was disturbingly eerie. So... surreal. Not to mention there was that 15 feet tall fence that she could see even though she was far from the borders. It was a constant reminder of the condition of things, and of the current government.
She spotted a Night club and decided to check it out. "Dementia. Interesting..."

Eric walked along the streets, headed no where in particular. He sighed, humming lightly, and saw a girl run out of the movie theater. He pauised for a moment, and decided to follow her slowly in case somthing happened to her.

Ruby stopped running when she reached a fair distance, and pulled a bracelet out of her pocket, she slipped it on her wrist and felt a pure anger and hatred fill through every inch of her body. It was invigorating, emotionaly numbing, and powerful. She pulled back her hood and took off the sunglasses, if people gave her too close of a look she looked back and stared them down.
A dark car slowed and then stopped right next to her, a tall man getting out. He was obviously not happy. "Where have you been?! What the hell do you think you get payed for?!" He grabbed her by the arm, roughly pushing her towards the car. "Just get in the car."
After looking around for a minute, the man got in with her and took off at a quick speed.

A soft rumbling grew in a back alley, the sound bouncing off the walls. There was a flash of light, leaving a mist in it's stead. When the mist cleared, a large bus was seated in it's place. The door on the side lifted up, and a white-haired man stumbled out. He placed a hand against the alley wall for support as he labored for breath. He rummaged through his pocket, grabbing a flask and taking a long swig, replacing the flask as he stood up, adjusting his sunglasses.
Arch shook himself, hopping back into the bus, and started her up, beginning his search.

Katherine wandered the streets, a portfolio in one hand, a tacklebox in the other, and a bolt of fabric under her arm. She glanced around, unsure of her surroundings. everything looked and smelled the same. She looked upwards at the towers, her new home, unsure yet if she liked this new life.

Artemis arrived at the museum, and went straight to the Union Beginnings exhibit. She saw Bobby and the girl, and paused a small distance away from them.
