Okay...I didn't see any Nazareth threads, so I made one!
This is where you can talk about your favorite members/albums/songs!
I personally love their "Hair of The Dog" title track "Hair of The Dog" It is my most favorite song to listen to when I'm in a bad mood. I'd say it really fits. 3nodding blaugh
Miss Misery is an awesome song too, I like the guitar work in it. 3nodding
Of course, they have a lot of awesome songs....but those are high up on my favorite list.
Nazareth is awesomeness. blaugh

I read that they got their name from The Band's "The Weight." I wasn't sure, maybe someone else does.

I enjoyed the Razamanaz album and Hair of The Dog!!
Whiskey drinkin Womenn~ not to mention Razamanaz.
Like listenin to "Hair of the Dog" when the mood ain't workin out.
Hmm.. First heard them one day when I could remember, My dad was jammin to his old tunes. He was blasting out the Razamanaz Alb.

I mean, what kind of sick person ruins an awesome song with rap lyrics? Obviously lots, because, there are a lot of songs that happen to...how very, very sad. cry

They simply used the Nazareth song and put a rap song over the top, you can still hear the Nazareth vocals...unfortunately, they censored the chorus so all you hear is "Now you're messin with a ....."

Yes it does, however, they didn't just pull in a guitarist to play the chords and have someone rap over it, so that wasn't entirely accurate.
