If you have a life that doesn't involve the computer, congratulations! Wait that's not what I wanted to say..... ------- *starts over* -------
This thread is a place to post when something is going to happen or is happening or has happened in real life. If you're going to go somewhere, you can tell us here (like the MIW punchclock.) If you are somewhere, you can keep us updated here (like a blog.) If you went somewhere recently and it was nifty, you can share your experiences (and/or pictures) here. Was that confusing? I hope so.
....Okay. I'll go first..... ^^

~My Cousin's Wedding~
Even though you could care less, I'm going to post about it....
It was cheesy. If you're an emotional person, you probably would have cried. If you're like me, you would have been trying desperately not to point and laugh at everything. sweatdrop
It was a very catholic wedding. It was in a catholic church with one of those really old catholic priests. (He even had one of those little boys in monk-garb following him around. The kid looked bored out of his mind.) The priest seemed to be slightly drunk because he said lots of offensive things such as "Hopefully, most of us here are catholic," and "Remember that today's service does not count as your mass for this week. BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHREALLYLONGLECTUREBLAHBLAHBLAH." I'm not catholic. I didn't kneel and I didn't say all the right things at the right times. I did bow my head when they said prayers cuz that's just the polite thing to do. Since the priest didn't say anything particularly amusing, let's discuss my eldest brother.
As you may or may not know, (because they may or may not always do this,) they ring a bell when he holds up the communal wine and whatnot. The second time they rang the bell my brother said (a little too loudly,) "Is anyone going to answer that?!" rofl .....Then when everyone has had their sip of wine, the priest drinks the rest. He did it by tossing back his head and downing it in one gulp. Eldest wondered aloud if the Father knew we were there. ^.^ ....Then when they told us to "wish your neighbors peace" I wished Eldest a happy birthday. o.0
The reception took place in the middle of nowhere and I got to watch old people dance. Unfortunately, sharing the pictures of the dancing old people would be rude since my mom was one of them. mrgreen But here's the only picture I felt like uploading....
(Zach is Navi's cousin.) YAY!....that was boring, huh?

I just recently went camping with my cousin, who is incredibly annoying, I might add. We ended up having a decent time though, apart from a few, ahem, privacy issues.

That wedding sounds very boring... Poor Navi. But bits of it also sound very entertaining (mainly, Navi's and Eldest's comments on the whole thing).
I was at an Orthodox Jewish wedding once. It was very... different. The bride stays in this ENORMOUS room for a bit before the wedding, completely surrounded by all the females who came to see everyone get married. She sits on this sort of throne-thing with steps leading up to it and her veil covering her face... The women, who crowds around on the steps, look like advisers to the bride, who looks like some sort of empress.
Then, there's the groom. He is being led from room to room by the male escort (composed of all the male guests), which dances round and round him in this skipping, dizzying manner while singing excitable Yiddish songs. So, he ends up looking like a planet with revolving moons.
Then, the groom comes and visit the bride (the men stay respectfully at the door) and lifts up the veil, to make sure it's her under there. Then, he leaves. The bride gets up and proceeds outside for the wedding in a cloud of women (some of which are carrying her train). The groom meets her out there in a cloud of men, and all the visitors go and sit down to watch them get married.
Afterwards, there was lots of food and drink and dancing. I got bored around dessert time and left. o.O
@sugar: Privacy issued equals bleagh. I'm glad the rest of it was good, though.

I may be scantily available for the next week or so, possibly because of sudden random events conciding onto one eventful week. Also, the computer is having issues. -_- It may get better in a week, but I'm going to have to run it through tons of programs first. gonk
Updates when I return to full activity!

As none of you really care about, I have just come back from several days at Portland. Can I post pics once I get them?

I bought a book about the postal exam. It's very interesting. I don't even know if I'll ever take the postal exam so it was just me throwing money around but reading is good for your brain so read this post and feel yourself getting smarter.....or just more bored.
There has been even more computer-hogging by Navi's blood relations. This is why Navi only gets to post once every few days in the early morning when she's too tired to make any sense. HUZZAH!

I'm back! My computer is still funky, and now I can't install new programs, which is rather odd. Also, my printer refuses to print. I'm going to try to fix that later today...
On the other hand, fun stuff happened! I shall be all secretive about it now. ninja

School has started up again for me in full force. This is not the idle-time summer schooling I have been doing for the past few months; this is full-time going-to-high-school-and-attending-community-college-in-between school. As so, I may be unable to get online for extended periods of time. I will try to get on at least once a week, but I can't promise anything for certain.
I'm planning something that should allow any big plans for the guild's promotion to carry on without me, but it's going to take some time to do this right, so don't expect it for at least another week.

I started classes and a job... Two things that are entirely new to me at the same time. If (Pause for laughter, if) I manage to settle a bit, I might have time other than sporadic to get online. As is, I think it's been a week or something silly like that. Never fear, I haven't forgotten you yet. ; )
