The age old question. So who would win in a bout. So far the current score between the Copy Ninja and the Green Beast of Prey is 50 - 49 in Gai's favor.
While Kakashi is more rounded and developed in all kinds of jutsu making him very versitile, Gai's a brawler focusing on taijutsu and ninja weapons, while still getting a 3 out of 5 in both nin and gen jutsu. In a traditional sense Kakshi is better than Gai in term of overall stats, but Gai is specialized making him shine in battle. Not to mention he is faster than Kakashi even with his wieghts and said by Saskue.
I have to give the fight to Gai

See Gai is amazing is speed and is a weapons master as you said. But you can't ask a Kakashi fangirl that question. But I can honestly say. That *cringes* I agreed with Sasuke.

I love Gai sensei as much as the next over zellosed narutard but still kakashi would win.

I'd like to see Gai beat Kakashi...don't get me wrong I like Kakashi as well...I find it funny how Gai is always trying to say something to Kaka-sensei and he never hears a word. Poor Gai!

I think he hears it. But he just ignores it like he cant. Like Sasuke when Sakura and Ino would fight over him. lolx. I think he just likes seeing Gai get all upset. Much like Exibit A.

well Gai-sensei has a speial(sp?) jutsu for the Saringan(sp?) which woulld make Gai-sensei win ^^ Go Gai!!!

I wouldnt be able to watch that fight...I couldnt bear to see Kakashi lose, and....Well, I'd feel a little sorry for Gai if he lost, I suppose. But I think I'd be rooting for Kakashi. I cant help it. I am a die-hard kakashi fan before anything else, even gai sensei. (sorry, Gai! crying )
