Have you ever read books while you're taking a Bath? I do it often, if it's not a Brand New book. I like what the water you ocassionally get on the book does to the pages, it makes them look old heart

I do that. My oldest book, the Hobbit got a little battered because of it, but then, I read it every summer.

Whenever I do take a bath, which isnt often, as I like to take showers, I read in the tub. The only problem is I always get them a bit wet, however I like to read in the tub. Along with watching tv odly... smile

I recently tried reading in the tub and it had to happen that day my cat fell into the tub and got water on my book. i wasn't too bad though because it was just on the cover so I wiped it off.

I love reading in the tub. As long as i'm careful not to drop my book. It's relaxing. Plus what else would i do in there? showers are for cleaning so why not read wail taking a bath?

I read in the bath all the time. Im rather skilled at not dropping the books in. I do splash them alot though, so I dont read books that im borrowing or hardcovers in the bathtub, I strictly read paperbacks that belong to me.

I haven't taken a bath in a looong time. o.O But even if I did, I think I'd keep my books far, far away from all that water...maybe I'd just read one of those girly magazines or something. ^^

Depends on the weather. If it's cold, I like to have my body covered as much as possible, so I'm mostly likely going to get the book wet so I dont read when it's cold. But if the weather is fairly warm I don't need to cover up as much and my book won't get wet as easily.

I don't take baths too often because my bathtub doesn't keep heat in well, but when I do I almost always take a book in. I've gotten pretty good at it actually. I just always make sure to have a towell near me and dry off if I need to set my book down. I haven't destroyed any books thankfully, but I have gotten a few damp though. Thankfully the librarian didn't notice those though, it'd be a bit hard to explain. I am very careful in which books I bring in with me, don't usually bring in books that aren't mine.

I love to read in the tub! But to make sure I don't drop my book in, I always use one of our large cookie sheets to put across the tub. xD I rest my book on that while I read. Its odd, but it works.

I don't take baths, I take showers... But yes, I read in the shower. *blushes* Not on a regular basis, and not page after page, but if I'm in a hurry and need to take my shower by a certain deadline... Well, sometimes it's just really hard to put down the book I'm reading, and I may finish a paragraph/page/chapter in the shower while I'm letting the conditioner set in my hair. It's not like I've got anything better to do in there, other than think, after all.
