okay... I somehow missed that you rated it yaoi (despite it being in bold letters)... so when I got to the end it was... uhh... burning_eyes
Having two Captain Jacks meet was a cool idea. Should be a good read for yaoi fans.

It's written okay, boderline well. The plot... is kind of odd-ish. I really don't think the pirate Jack would, um, do that... no matter how drunk he is. I don't mean the sex part, but I mean the whole tieing Jack up to a log. 0_o But I do wonder what happened to the Doctor and Rose... it's not like they would just dump him. It's slightly intriuging, and at least you didn't write out the *ahem*-part graphically or anything.

When I first thought up the idea my thoughts went like this:
1st thought: Let's make a fanfic featuring Captain Jack Harkness and Captain Jack Sparrow!
2nd thoght: Let's put yaoi in it!
3rd thought: Let's see how well I can abuse Jack Harkness... rofl
4th thought: This is going to be fun!
Yeah, I may have exaggerated a bit on some of Jack Sparrow's actions, but this is my first time writing for these characters, so I'm just playing around with some ideas.
For the yaoi parts, I keep in mind the 'fade to black' line. I use it in any story where there's graphic parts. It's useful and it gives me a bit more room to put other stuff in.
Chapter 3 is up!

They seem to... um... dance quite often.

Chapter three is is a bit more graphic that the other two, but still within fanfictions.net's limits. I think that will be the end of the dancing, at least for now. Depending on how many more chapters I write, there may be a bit more.
My writing style seems to improve the more I write, really. The first couple of chapters are always a bit rocky, but I try to improve with each chapter I write. Thanks for your comments, everyone!
Chapter four will be up eventually. I haven't started it yet; I'm trying to think up some more ideas.

I like how things have started to pick up in chapters 2 & 3. The first chapter basically had the two Jacks meet, and end up as... uh... 'very good friends'. Teaming them together works better than I would have thought, considering that with both Harkness and Sparrow being rather charismatic personalities, there's the risk of one overshadowing the other. But it seems to be working.
Your depiction of Sparrow meshes well with Depp's portrayal in the films. Harkness might be coming off a bit weak, but that could be due to his having to play the damsel-in-distress role up till now. Hopefully he'll be able to hold his own with the larger-than-life Sparrow as the story progresses. He seems a little too submissive. Or maybe I'm just thinking about the dancing at the end of part 3. whee

Well, considering Jack Harkness has been stranded in the Carribean, captured by a bunch of natives, tied up, beaten, and was almost eaten by a giant shark, he's taking it pretty well. Things will pick up a bit in the next chapter.

Since I did read the yaoi part I'm afraid I'm too much of a wuss to read it. It's sounds very interesting though. If you ever do an innocent-enough-for-Roobarb version I'd be very happy to read it.
I am a Pirates of the Caribbean fan but not... err... a fan of any sentences that have Jack Sparrow, Jack Harkness and bondage in them eek . Maybe I'll read the sequel... sweatdrop

Finally catching up with these fanfics...
I think the story has become far more interesting beginning with chapter 5. Not sure if it's because of the Jack vs. Shark scene, or that Rose and the Doctor have popped back in. Probably both.
Poor Jack seems to be getting beaten up a lot in these fanfics.
