I like the Master, the Daleks and the Cybermen. I guess I like the Master better because he's more humanlike. You know what I mean, he has a sense of humor -- something the robots can't have.

I'm fond of the Cybermen myself; they're a look at what you'd get when humans remove all the things that make them human. Developed from a doctor's paranoia about prosthetics and artificial organs, they turned onto one of the most meanacing villains the series has ever known.
Unfotunately, they've also got more vulnerabilities than any other race of villains: radiation, plastic solvents, gravitic fluctuation, electrical shocks, gold, regular bullets (thanks, Saward and JNT), etc.

The Cybermen were much scarier than the Daleks in my opinion...but the one thing worse than them was The Raston Warrior Robot in The Five Doctors...because it took part in the violentest Doctor Who scene ever and left me with a permenant fear of leotards o.o;
Outside of the regulars, though, the Kandyman was wicked scary in my opinion...although I've only read the novelisation of The Happiness Patrol so I don't know how Bertie Basset's acid-fuelled cousin did on TV.
Oh and the first thing I remember about Doctor Who is being scared witless at the age of five by watching a documentary on it and seeing a clip where a rubber chair ate someone...I had to go to bed before the programme ended it traumatised me so <.< That chair gave me nightmares.

Being the daughter of the biggest Dalek fan in the universe, my favourites are, undoubtedly, the Daleks. They're quite adorable, in their strange little pseudo-Nazi way. whee

would the Mara count...
If no then I say the Cybermen, especially in The Tomb of the Cybermen. Really good episode, besides the visible string special effects xp

Well, as I've only recently started watching the series, I haven't really seen any enemies other then the Daleks.
The Daleks are very awsome, though. biggrin I heart them.

smeagol_lied the daleks are v. cool because they have no emotions, they just kill, kill, kill. i hate them because they killed Jack. Grrr. Not entirely true. In "The Daleks" (The first story with them) Some have shown fear. In Genesis of the Daleks, the final dalek speech was full of determination. Lets not forget the excitment daleks seem to feel when they find something to exterminate.

I like the Master best I think, just cos he's like a really stylish Doctor and sometimes u really REALLY want him to win. Plus he likes the Clangers. And I like the robot version of him in the webcast Scream Of The Shalka cos he gets to mock everyone.
I found that man-eating chair terrifying too... I just caught a clip of it when I was little and didn't even realise it was Doctor Who until later. Very very freaky. I also like the Sea Devils, because they're weapons sound cool. But the BEST have got to be the yeti. They are cuddly yet deadly and I love seeing the little silver control orb things rolling around the place. Spooky.
Even though I didn't find them in any way scary, I have to also point out the strange servant creatures in The Three Doctors. I love those weird eyes and also the fact that they look like they're made out of sweety wrappers. Which they might be cos Omega has a giant marshmallow dispenser in his room. If I could make anything, I would make a world full of sweets. Thanks to the anti-matter radiation he doesn't even have to worry about his weight.
Errr.. anyway, I'll shut up now.
