Randee stood in the clearing with her companion, Leah, at her side, watching the night stars twinkle in the sky.
"It's so beautiful isn't it?" asked Randee.
"Yes, but its pretty chilly out," said Leah, nodding.

Settia walked silently through the chill night. Her own thoughts raced through her head. Many things had happened since she had been away. Her daughter had found a boyfriend and her sons, she still had no clue about. Dyami, her mate had missed her greatly as well. Signing she looked up into the night sky at the stars. "No, the sky has not changed on me. The stars are still bright." she said as they twinkled.

Randee looked around and spotted a Soquili in the distance of the clearing.
"Leah, look," said Randee as she trotted over to the other Soquili.
"Hello, I am Randee and this is Leah," said Randee, introducing herself to the Soquili.

Settia turned to face the Soquili that was talking to her and found a black white striped mare coming towards her. Smiling, she mentally shook off her sad and confused thoughts. "Hello, My name is Settia. It is nice to meet you both." she said feeling glad that atleast she was meeting someone her own gender. The stallions tended to act too macho or gentlemanly for her sometimes and it was refreshing talking to another mare. "Beautiful night isn't it?" she asked the mare and her companion.

"A very beautiful night indeed," said Randee. "When I came over to you, you seemed lost in thought. Is everything okay?"

"Oh, yes. I am fine." Settia said and flicked her tail. "I was just trying to sort out my thoughts. What brings you out here in the middle of the night?" she asked trying to strick up a conversation with the other mare.

"Just came outside to see the stars and enjoy the nighttime sky," said Randee. "I've been thinking about a lot lately as well. Mostly my future, things such as me and my mate, Unesdala ale Vsti. Have you ever met him?"

Settia nodded. "I have never met him. My mate is Dyami. Have you by chance met him?" Settia asked. It was nice finally talking to another mare.

"No, I do not believe I have met him," said Randee. "Although the name does sound familiar. Do you and Dyami have any children? Me and Unesdala are hoping to have children of our own someday."

Settia smiled and nodded. "Aye, Dyami and I have three children. Two sons and a daughter. Thier names are Jazz, Fenrir, and Tori. All are grown now and I wish you luck with your own children."

"It's...really cold out," said Leah, who is not used to any cold at all.

Settia smiles warmly at Leah and Randee. "Thank you. They are very good children. I could not have asked for better." Looks down at Leah. "It is a bit chill out. If I could I would try and warm you."

"Leah should be fine, she's just used to the scorching heat of the desert sun," said Randee smiling. "So, tell me about Dyami."

"I would not know how the desert sun feels for I have not been there." the red mare said and smiled down as Leah. "Dyami, well he is red, white, and green. The colors of the Holiday Seaon and has two human caretakers. I have met both and infact they both have one of our children. My two-legger has our other." Settia began.

"Oh, Dyami sounds very handsome," said Randee, nodding. "If you would like, we can show you to the desert? It is actually quite a beautiful place."
