it was originaly done by some guy named chris issack back in the 80's. go here: linkage , and go down to the c's and about halfway down is chris issack, he's right under chip chip.

i always read the back on the albums and through the booklets whee
and i saw chris issack (sp?) preform it on a show and i was like omigod he sucks D:

Nah I am sure that you are not the only person, the original version did come out a while ago. It is like any remake, unless you know about the original the one you hear is basically all there is. So while it is surprising it isn't to be thought of as impossible.

It's not like Wicked Game is a rare song or anything, it's on Razorblade Romance and Greatest Lovesongs for Christ's sake. gonk

My mum's a fan too, so she had one of his CDs lying around.
I prefer Lacuna Coil's version of Enjoy The Silence though.
As for my favourite HIM cover, it'd have to be Rebel Yell, or Larger Than Life.

I'm actually more of a fan of Chris Isaak than my mom. I love Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing. Anyway, HIM's version of Wicked Game couldn't be better, in my opinion. I don't think it would've been as good if they tried to rock it out. xp
