*bagpipe music fills the air as Piper steps out from the back and heads to the ring which is set up for Piper's Pit. gets in the ring and picks up a microphone.*
now today's Piper's Pit isn't going to have the special guest you all were just dying to see. no, tonight I'm going to clear the air a bit. I want to talk to you guys about legends. actually let's make this simpler, let's talk about living legends. the Hall of Fame is full of WWE legends. for example: myself, Sgt. Slaughter, and even *shudders* "Hulk" Hogan. now both myself and Sgt. Slaughter are so noted we even had successful attempts in Hollywood and I'll admit Sgt. Slaughter got the better deal from it. but the bad egg in that trio is Hogan. he didn't just bomb the box office with his movie attempts, he atomic bombed it. now you may be saying to yourself, "that's great Roddy. we already knew that, but what's your point?" well my point is this, to truely be a legend you have to be able to do more than just throw people around a ring. you should be albe to show the audience, that's you people, that you can entertain them in more than just one way. I can tell you right now, there are a few people back there who I see true legendary status in. however, it's up to them if they wish to attain it. and I'm sure you want to know who I'm talking about. but I think you guys already know, maybe even have your own ideas, on as to who could reach the top and actually belong there. but I'm getting bored, does the peanut gallery in the back have any comments?

Christian walked out carrying the retired European Championship, "Hey Rowdy Roddy Piper! I'm a future legend!" Christian said holding up retired belt "I'm also the champion of Europe, because I'm a winner!"

"You think you know me..." The theme of "Metalingus" by Alterbridge kicks in and Edge entered the arena with an ovation of cheers. He walks down and gets in the ring with Piper and Christian. "Hot Rod.." Edge said. "Im not out here to disrespect you dude, im actually honored to be standing in this ring with you." the crowd cheers. "I totally looked up to you growing up, you totally beat the snot outta Mr T...anyways Im Edge...and this little freak right here is my brother. Anyways I know im not a legend like you are, but I feel I might be on my way to becoming one."

*looks at Edge* yea, I'm sure you are. you did win the first Money in the Bank contest. that's really a good accomplishment to be able to claim. however, you need to be able to hold on to the main title for more than just a month before you are ready to be anywhere near being a legend. is it possible for you to do that?

that's great kid. but it's one thing to say you're gonna do it and it's a whole nother thing to actually do it. do you think you have what it takes to pull it off?

Golddust?! *starts to laugh* oh you're funny kid. you can cross Golddust off your list of possible hurdles. he poses no threat to anyone looking for a major title. and as far as your request to mentor you goes..... I think that could be done. and when you make it to the Hall of Fame, you'll know why. it's cause you made a deal with the Scottish devil.
