(( H'okay. this RP is to take place in the time shortly after p. 500 in the main shop thread. Nar decided it would be best to have a chat with Iden's Dracula character and that's er.... the setting XD ))
Naraka paces back and forth in his basement lair, horribly nervous and feeling quite jittery. He has a tendency to avoid other vampires like the plague, and this one sounds particularly unpleasant to deal with, but he made a promise, and he can't break it now. Waiting makes him crabby and unhappy, but wating is all he can do until Iden decides it's time for them to meet.

Iden hesitated for a moment before opening the shop door, taking a deep breath before she entered. She was awfully nervous herself, and still wondering what she'd been thinking when she'd started all this, as it were. She couldn't stop thinking that maybe thing would go horribly wrong somehow, and maybe she just should have kept her mouth shut, or told Naraka she didn't need help, or..or something. If something were to go wrong, it would be all her awful fault.
She shook her head to clear it, wrung her hands, and walked to the basement door, opening it just a little. There wasn't any backing out now. "Naraka?" she called nervously.

A small, timid voice comes floating down the stairs. He stops his pacing, stands quiet for a moment, and then comes up to meet her. "Yeah, I'm here... Are you ready? How ah... How would you prefer we do this? Do you want me to come home with you?"

"As I'll ever be." She gave an anxious little smile, really trying not to fidget. "It's kind of, aah, a bit hard to get 'home,' so I brought him with me. Sort of. I left him outside, not far off. I figured maybe you wouldn't want him in here."

He gives her a funny stare and scratches roughly at the back of his neck. "Well.... you... have him? Geez... Yeah, I guess... I had better go out there... so we don't freak him out. Wait.. wait, I can't do this alone." He wanders back downstairs and returns with a rather largish bottle of what suspiciously looks like liquor. He takes a couple of long slugs from it, rubs his hand over his face, and heads up, into the shop. "Alright... I think I'm ready."

"Sorry. I guess that sounds weird. He can come and go out of that spear of his, so..it kind of gives a funny meaning to taking someone somewhere." She shrugged, not even quirking an eyebrow at the bottle of whatever-it-was. She was actually a bit surprised that he was so nervous, though, and she felt bad for being the cause of it.
"Ah, alright then.." Wringing her hands one more time, she started off out the shop, waiting for Naraka, an anxious sort of tic to her gait.

"Oh.. I had only assumed you'd brought him along. But to leave him out in some alley did seem a little peculiar... Out hunting, perhaps. I don't know. I don't know if I can think."
He wanders along after her, wondering how far it is they'll have to go and exactly what he's going to say. Or even how it's going to turn out. There's no way to know.

She shook her head lightly. "He probably wouldn't have stayed put that way, and then we'd have to go and find him or something. Or he'd have just followed me."
She'd left him a few blocks away, in a little park where no one was likely to wander by at this hour and take a shine to the lovely spear leaning up against a tree. That would be awful.

(( ha ha. Dracula wakes up in some kid's garage. Vlad: WTF??!?! Where am I!?! *stabitystabstabstab!!!!* ))
"Oh..." He lumps after her, his feet dragging with every step. Why does he instist on getting himself involved? What ever does he hope to accomplish? Well, he can't back out now, so he tightens his grip around his bottle and marches on.
When the spear comes into view, Nar can't help but slow down and stare. A creature who lives inside a weapon really can't be good news. Then he recalls the story of the most well-crafted sword in Japan, who floated, serene, down the river and cut no leaves in its path. If only this were such a well-behaved spear.
He takes another sip, stopping a little way off, to watch.

((XDD! Think twice before picking up any random weaponry you find laying about in the open.))
Casting a glance back at Nar, she moved forward. Whilst in his home, Vlad wasn't really aware of anything going on outside of it. He'd know when she picked it up, and he'd know she was nervous, too..there was a weak sort of empathic connection when she was touching the spear. But when she finally wrapped a hand around it, she grimaced. There was nothing. He wasn't in there.
Where he was was in a tree, resting on a lowhanging branch, waiting. After giving her a moment longer to worry, and himself one to consider this new vampire with her, he dropped easily down behind the girl. "Looking for me?"

(( most definitely. x.x they might be a someone. Or at least a someone's home. ))
Naraka's too intently watching to notice the shadowy figure lurking above her in the tree. It gives him a horrible start when he jumps down, however, and Nar's first instinct is to rescue her.
He takes a step forward, and stop, swaying on his feet, very ill at ease. He can tell quite clearly that this is indeed a vampire, and a fairly powerful one at that. If it were Vlad's intentions to give him a good stabbing, there probably isn't a thing he can do to stop him. Nar stands quietly, avoiding eye contact, waiting to be 'introduced'.

((And they might not take too kindly to the unexpected move o.o.))
"Jesus!" She jumped at Vlad's sudden appearance, spinning 'round with the spear still in her hands. "D'you have to do that?"
"No, not really." Shrugging carelessly, he plucked his weapon from her loose grip, then jerked his head in Naraka's direction. "New friend?"
He turned, openly appraising as he leaned lightly on his spear. Judging from his smirk, he wasn't exactly impressed with this vampire who wasn't even meeting his gaze. He was certainly intrigued, though.
Meep rubbed the back of her neck, shifting her weight uneasily. "Aah..Vlad, this is Naraka. Naraka, this is Vlad." And that was an awful introduction.

(( I hate introductions. I always skimp on them. XD ))
Naraka caps his bottle and sets it gently down on the ground, for later retrieval. He isn't sure how or where he'd prefer to conduct this, but has the notion that he'd rather not Iden be around. After a moment of psyching himself up, for it makes him far more shy and nervous when it's someone else on the line and not himself, he approaches, giving Vlad a rather intense, searching stare. Is he really so awful? Is it something that can easily be remedied? And if not, to what lengths would Nar be able to go to keep his new acquaintance from harm?
Shaking the thoughts from his head, he addresses the troublemaker. "Yes, Naraka." He makes no move to shake his hand, or attend to any other formalities. Instead, he turns and looks off into the tall, heavy trees that populate the park. "I was wondering if we couldn't have a little chat."

((Haha, me too XD. Awful things.))
He narrowed his eyes, just keeping up a smug grin under the scrutiny. Seemingly, he was the only one of the three who was perfectly fine with the situation, not that he knew precisely what it was himself. A little amused, and incredibly curious, he only briefly considered being contentious and declining to 'chat.' Fun though that might be, he was more interested in finding out what was up.
Finally, he gave a slow shrug, straightening. "I don't see why not."
Since she was, apparently, not to be included this, Iden leaned back against the tree right where she was, arms crossed, and tried to keep from fidgeting again. That this was going to go on out of her sight made her even more nervous. It wasn't as though she could stop anything, but..

(( and that's why it's just a good idea not to meet people razz ))
Naraka shoves his hands in his pockets, studies Vlad for a moment longer, and begins to wander into the dark. He motions for the other vampire to come along. It takes a moment for him to think of how he's going to say... He has a sinking feeling that this is just going to go terribly, and he'll do nothing but harm the situation.
"I wanted to talk to you about Iden. I don't know exactly what your intentions are for her, or what she is to you exactly, but do you really know what it is you're doing to her? She's very distressed... So I came to ask you, please, please don't hurt her so. I doubt she does anything to deserve the scratches on her back.. I don't know you. I don't know why it is you do it, so I'm going to be perfectly candid. What could I possibley do to get you to stop abusing her?"
