Inside You I was Reborn *Deep green eyes settled upon the cool waters before them as the male leopard moved himself to sit. He was tired and in a bad mood- but that wasn’t any different from every other day. Kujack slowly sighed, his white tail tucking under him as he sat. It was dim out due to the sun setting, and the skies were painted in a soft pink mixture. Lapping up water from the water hole the male relaxed, or at least tired to.*

Ger awoke from where Kujack settled him the night before. Looking up the sen was setting, it would seem that he slept the entire day away. Fortunately, nothing had disturbed him. Ger's teal eyes scanned around, nothing. The cub stretched out and yawned with a high pitched yap. "Kujack?" he called out, no reply. "Kujack?" he asked again. He looked around, his leopard friend wasn't anywhere nearby.
Ger grew scared and stared out into the empty enviorment. He was alone again in a place he doesn't remember or knew. He was lost and vulnerable. Scared he didn't know what to do, he wanted to cry but it seemed his eyes have dried since his last one.
He remembered a noise that Cheetahs made to call out to others. What choice else? Ger took a deep breath and let out a loud yip noise hoping that it reach someone that wouldn't want to kill him. He did it again and again.

*Cocking his head to the side the lazy big cat slowly rolled over; his green orbs narrowing softly along the direction that the noise came from. What on earth? Why did everything have to happen to him? Wrinkling his nose the male sat, before realizing that Ger was gone. Frowning he stood and slowly started off, looking for the tiny parasite.*
"Ger?"
*He called out in a bitter tone, his tail swaying from side to side slowly.*

Ger's throat started to hurt from the chirping when he heard his name. Surprised that someone heard him, but was frightened of what it could be. A Lion, a hyena, a wild dog, or a leopard. He was only a cub and he can't defend himself if whoever answered were to eat him.....but who else would know his name and be out here at this time of night? He sat still, pulled back against the tree where Kujack had left him....alone.
He could feel tears coming but he didn't know why. He held them back, he had already cried once to Kujack and he would not rather do it again.

"Gah, where are you?"
*The male called out again, before slowly moving to where he had been sleeping the night before. Oh that was right, he had gotten up to get a drink of water when Ger was fast asleep- crap; He left the cub alone. Frowning again he moved to the tree and eyed down slightly, spotting Ger right away. It was hard not to with a bright coat like that.*
"What’s wrong this time?"

Ger growled, holding back tears. "You're so mean! You left me here all alone!" he shouted back at him. "You carried me here and totally messed up my direction!" he growled, then pouting back to the tree. Kujack only knew his way back to Pride Rock when he could retrace his steps but it dawned on him that he couldn't. Kujack pulled him off from his tracks and placed him in a place he never been to before.
"I just hope Mufasa and Sarabi didn't start some sort of search party for me." he spoke. What would they do if they saw Kujack with Ger? Would they see him as an attacker and attack him? He hoped that they didn't do such a thing that way Kujack would be safe. Ger looked at him with his large teal eyes.

"Pish, hush you. No one is going to send nay one to look for you. I’ll take you home if you want to go back to the Pride Rock of yours. Can’t have you getting killed walking there all alone, and have the mind my sent on you, and come down and get me."
*He was so kind, only caring about his a** most of the time. Though really Jack didn’t want Ger to go home alone, it really wasn’t safe after dark. Smirking he made a childish face at the cub, as if to mock him for complaining.*

Ger stepped toward him, "But it's late out and I don't think it would be smart to move around with Hyenas in the Pride Lands now..." he said. Actually he didn't really want to go to the Pride Lands now. All that was there was Kikore, Mosi, Ezeoha, and his mother. Everyone else had their own stuff to do, why would they care if he wasn't around. He sort of wanted to stay with Kujack more, but still be part of his pride. He was torn between two.
"Kujack...I don't wanna go home yet." he whispered. He looked up to see Kujack's mocking face. "Hey! That's not funny!" he shouted.

"Then don't go home yet."
*The male shorted and puffed out his chest, rubbing a paw over the tiny lion's head. With a cocky grin he laughed and mocked Ger once again.*
"So, you don't have a father right? That means you have a mother, that you live with?"
*He stopped and asked, his green eyes narrowing down slowly.*

Ger growled, when Kujack rubbed his head, it brought back the irratating cowlick that he had. Only his mom could get it down. He tried plenty of times, but it always got back. Ger licked his paw and rubbed his head trying again. "Yeah, my mom lives at Pride Rock." he replied, not really paying attention to Kujack. "Though lately, I haven't been able to see her as often. When I do go home, it takes me a while to find her as if she is ignoring me or something." he added, falling onto his back, struggling to get the cowlick down. "RAWR!" he cried as he just gave up and laid down defeated. His face pouted, "This is your fault, Dad." his eyes grew wide, "I m-meant Kujack." he corrected, rolling onto his side. "I meant Kujack."

"Your nuts Ger."
*Jack deemed, wrinkling his nose as the words ‘father’ passed the tiny cub’s maw. With a soft sigh the male sat back and thought about what Ger had just said. If everything he said was true then it looked like Kujack would end up with a cub, a lion cub. His green eyes closed tightly as a chill ran up his back side. Oh the thought made him feel sick.*
"Ger- you can stay here for as long as you need..."
*Stopping the male quickly felt himself becoming soft. With a deep snarl he added.*
"Just don’t call me dad!"

Ger flinched, "Y-yes, sir!" he replied, well....blurted. Ger smiled a little, Kujack just offered him a chance to stay with him. What could have been better? He was still a part of teh Pride Land's pride, but living out here could not be against any of the pride's rules....hopefully.
Occasionally when the wind blew, he would feel something on his head move. By the time he brough his paw up, he already knew what it was. The same old cowlick that his mother was always putting down....must be genetic or something. Ger just tried again. "But, why not? Oh nevermind, don't bother to explain." he spoke, smiling a little. "So, is there a den that you live in? Or do you live out here?" sort of curious to as how the leopard lived. To always be so clean, highly doubted that he lived outside.

"I live here, and there, and here again. I don’t really have a home. So if you are going to stick around get use to walking."
*Jack’s eyes narrowed softly as he laced his paws along one another. His white chest puffed out slightly as he took in air; his long tail swinging around his side.*
"I don’t think living in one place really is living up to being free. I am free and I will exercise that right."

Ger smiled, "To live free...." he spoke, trying the words for himself, "Sounds nice." Kujack was different from when they first met. He actually cared about him and they barely knew each other.
"I guess I better if I am to keep up with you." he replied. He liked to go on adventures, and adventures meant far distances, this could help him out a bit. But perhaps he doesn't need to find his father any more, he gots one right here. "So what do we do now?" the lion cub asked, his teal eyes wandering over to him. Though his paw still continued down his head, pausing now and again to lick it.

"You won’t fix your fur that way, kid. Stop it, your making it all natty."
*Jack spoke out like a true purest, he loved to keep clean. His green orbs slowly moved to close as he sighed, moving himself to the cub. He pushed himself just over top Ger and licked his forehead, pushing down the hair that was so hard to manage.*
"There, all better. Now DON’T paw it at again or I’ll kick your a**."
