Back from Montana. It wasn't... bad. I won't bore ya' with details, but I'll summerize it as thus:
Too long a drive. Beatiful mountains. Huge, long, lake (Flathead Lake) Nice Cabin. Prickly brother's gf (why did she come along?) Saw a wild bison give birth. It was only ten feet away. Cute calve. Edit: New-Age rude people are invading Montana. It's not so much that the new-age thing is taking over, as so much the people causing the change are incredibly rude.
Heh...

Kind of reminds me of beetlejuice, when they move out into the country.

Huh? Oh, yeah, I see. Well, ya'know, a few new-age stores is fine, but to replace almost all of the stores in downtown Billings with them? They weren't there two years ago! A lot better stores back then.

OOH. I thought you meant new-age as in art. Ha. I wish I could have gone there, then. There's not many new age shops around here.

Nah, see, new-age and Montana doesn't fit. Yes, new-age is fine to takeover, as long as the city it takes over fits it. Billings didn't, and never will. The original people, the people who were born in Billings or even in Montana for that matter, hate it.
On a completely different note:
Oh and, when I say this, I speak for what I hear, not what I think: City people are bringing in the harsh, hard, rude nature of the city to Montana. A few years ago, Montana had great hospitality. But now that more people are migrating from the cities to Montana, the mood is beginning to change altogether. And I'll admit, there is some truth behind that. It's happening to southern Indiana. We're known for our "Hoosier Hospitality." But it seems that that's fading now. People moving in from cities are changing that. Yes, there are some nice, good people. But a lot seem to be oblivious, rude, and hard. Montana and Indiana need to hold on, for a smile is a contageous thing. Hoosiers and Big Skies need to remember: be nice, polite, and friendly. Do not become hard and cold. Perhaps we can repair our slowly decaying states...
Sorry, I'm ranting now, aren't I?

Even if you are it's okay, i don't mind. You do have a point. I understand how cities can be over crowded and such, but i wish people wouldn't move out into the country and then complain about getting flooded when they build their house so close to a river, or about the wild animals when they're in the wilderness. and yeah, i agree how people can be pretty snobby sometimes.

Hmmm... Yeah, you come out here, live out here. It's called the country for a reason. Someone complained about the Amish the other day. They shut him up quickly.
