Seriously, what do you consider the best food to be "armed" with for a food fight. I think masked potatoes. They can be scooped easily. They stay on your spoon until you release them. And most importantly, they are definately felt during impact. Also, they are moderately easy to clean up afterwards (unlike gravies and stuff).
biggrin

Tomatoes! I know it's awful to get out of clothes. There's this festival in Italy or spain (I'm tired, forgive my scatter brain) where they have a huge, huge tomato fight in the middle of the town!

Lets see, seedless grapes could work well. And generally any potatoe based food except maybe raw or baked. Spaghetti would make quite a mess, but makes a very satisfiying splat... Ahh yes Cream pies a perfect classic, yep pies would do it.

That would be Toldeo, Spain. 3nodding I agree with the mash part. Cup cakes would be great, too. They're like mini pies, so you have more control over them (no slipping off your hands!). plus, they stick to walls. xd

Any kind of mini-flan or tart works rather well. They are easily held, chucked, and kind of explode upon impact.

Icysnowgirl Rotton, fresh, or hardboiled? Rotten, if you're being mean. Fresh, if you're having fun. Hardboiled, if you want to hurt the recipient(s).
P.S. My daughter says that we've forgotten Jello whee
